My mum nipped into Bolton for me today, to get my usual conditioner (as there was none left in Preston). She picked up 2 bottles, and got a freebie Serenity gift box. And then... she told me there were bigger boxes available, but they were all Christmassy ones and she didn't think I'd want one of those!!!

i went to bolton today and tbh the bigger boxes that were christmassy werent all that much better than the serenity one.
i ended up getting the legends hat box  and a couple of bits to make it up to £100 then got 5 boxes for birthday pressies through the year. i thought i'd done well at the time, now i'm not too sure. at least i have enough lush stuff to last throughout 2009!
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

They had one hat box left, and told my mum she could have 5 freebies if she bought it. They said they'd only had two and someone else had done just that earlier in the day! Must have been you!!

She didn't buy it for me, though. What kind of mother is she??!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Savvy I'm really sorry that you lost the bag containing your purchases. Not sure if it will help but I have just emailed Lush to ask them to read this thread to see if they could do anything for you. Its worth a try as it is (was) Christmas.
OMG thanks for trying BargainJunky but it's not their problem really as we had left their shop completely happy icon9.gif I had thought about telling the local paper about it and telling them about the car accident I've had that has left me with some problems - one of which is forgetting things and mislaying things :rolleyes: and of the recent small health scare I'd experienced at the same time, to see if that would guilt somebody into returning it all - but then thought the paper wouldn't be interested, the 'finder' wouldn't care as they haven't cared about handing it in..........................and at the end of the day it's not as bad as what some people lose in life is it

Flat Eric thanks for your kind offer too :T.........you guys are lovely, but it's okay thanks, I still have the 'freebies' that cost me twice as much :D:rolleyes:

Does anyone know the Lush store opening times? I'm back to work tomorrow and there's a Lush near me. I was thinking of popping in before I start to get some bits for a birthday pressie but the web site only states where they are, not their opening times?

    Thanks

I went in early today and ended up first in the queue. Of course my aim was to go for the £100 hat box but sadly my store opened yesterday and they sold out of those then.

However I wouldnt have been so greedy as to take 12 and really Lush should limit each gift set to 2 per customer so that no customer can snaffle them all.

I had made up my mind that I would befriend the next person in the queue and say I would grab a hat box for them / they grab one for me etc but sadly there were no hat boxes to be had. I got the enchanted box though which was worth £32 and is actually a really nice set. I missed out on the winter wonderland boxes worth £50 but these boxes had stuff in I wouldnt use so Im perfectly happy with what I got.:T:T:T

Savvy, i was so so sorry to read your post. If you PM me your address, i have a spare angel delight soap I can send you as Ive ended up with 2 and its not my favourite soap :D

Flat Eric, was this the Plymouth branch you are talking about? If so I was second in the queue behind you and your friend, I was the lady in the purple coat.
I went in for the Next sale mainly as wanted to kit out my two little boys but I wanted to make sure I was early enough for Lush opening to treat myself for a change too.
I got a winter wonderland box so was really pleased, I picked up that one and I think the same one as you and was looking at the labels to see which one I would use more of when a lady tried to take the winter wonderland out from under my arm lol.
I chose that one as I really wanted more shower gels and creams, really impressed with the pots of jelly too, and excuse the pun but my bathroom is really smelling lush :D mainly after I caught my two year old wiping some of the jelly on my one year old and the shower curtain at the same time, he didn't like the feeling so was wiping it on anything to try to get rid of it.:rotfl:

So does it start online today?
Does anything get added to your shopping cart to say you're gonna get free products because nothing appears for me!
