Having heard about an unexpected visit from several vegan relatives, we dashed down to Lush yesterday afternoon at 4pm and found the shutters had just gone down. The lovely people inside put em up again just for us and helped us pick out our presents.:A
We bought 3 gifts that totalled £48 and got 2 x £30 gift boxes for free. (boyfriend gave these ones to me:D  ) I have packaged all my items up in greaseproof paper/sellophane to keep em nice til I use em. I already had 2 big gift boxes from friends so I have tons of stuff now.0 -
I remeber when OH & myself were on holiday. We went to the cash machine to take out some money & there was about 500 dollars sticking out.
The rest of the bank was closed. We only had a bit of tissue (unused) so OH wrote a little note on it & was about to post the money wrapped in tissue under the shutters when a guy came running in asking about his money. We obviously questioned him about the amount & what cash machine. He was extremely relieved.0 -
Dont forget the face creams are included in the offer, people tend to overlook these and really, once the big gift boxes are gone they are a bargain!
I went in today and spent 20.00 and got Gorgeous face cream (normally 34.95)
l love it, don't know if it does my face any good but it sure feels nice!:DBut if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
'Cos love is free and life is cheap As long as I've got me a place to sleep
Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more0 -
Being a regular Lush customer I made use of the anticipated offer (saved everything i needed until after xmas!) went in as soon as it opened on Boxing day (9am) and got a £32 gift set with £23 purchases and a free Christmas Cake Soap for reusing my bag. Not bad as some of will last into next Winter!! (still have stuff from last year!)
But I am disapointed as last year i'm pretty sure you only had to spend £10-15 as i remember walking round with 2 big gift boxes! They have put their prices up since then too! :-0 aah well. I think i am tempted to make use of it again though as i have always wanted to try the £35 moisturiser! Damn them!0 -

I went to my local Lush today and they had one of the big gold £99 boxes. I wasn't sure of the offer and asked how i would get that item in an offer. The store assistant said that if i bought that item i would get 5 gift sets free?? Is this right?
From some of the posts i've read i'm sure i've seen that if you spend over £20 you get the gift free?0 -
It sounds like the box was made to late to be included in the offer, the shop assistant was trying to tell you that as it was not included in the offer, you could instead buy it for £100 and this spend would then enable you to chose 5 other gift boxs that were in the sale.Started comps 7th August 2007 total for 2007 £1890
had a break for a couple of months £835 / £2008 wins this month,

Has anyone been to the Newcastle or Metro Centre stores? I haven't treated myself to Lush for ages but not sure if I dare brave the crowds.
But I do have a Dior makeup set to take back to Debenhams so that's an other incentive to go and get myself some goodies.
Or shall I wait for the grab bags? HHmmmDEBT FREE! Sep '08/£9,800 in Oct '06 :beer:0 -

The big gold box is known as Lush Legends. It is the King & Queen of Lush stuff
The current offer that they have is for every £20 that you spent, you can get anything that is made before 1st Dec 2008 for free!!! This includes the gift boxes such as Merry Christmas - £70, Winter Wonderland - £50, Think Pink - £45 etc ( now you can see why we are crazy about it lol ). Anyway, judging from what the sales assistant told you, the gold box is most likely produced after 1st Dec. Hope this explanation helps.0
