Emms did you commit to another fixed thingy? or is this an ongoing one (very technical with motgages, also should I get a good rate as mine is about 1/3rd value of house?)

No hun, went onto the variable. Fixed they were offering me were higher than I am paying now, can't really afford that. Thought I would take the drop and skip onto the variable for now, if interest rates start going back up - I may have to take a deal.

I am currently (well til the end of the month) on 5.08%, but will go to 3% variable, they're now only offering me 6.08% so it's not great. I am going to use the opportunity of being £70 better off a month to clear a debt.

Hope that makes sense hun? (Sorry not so good at the maths :o)

  • Well I'm in Kent, but I could bring it if Nats ever arranges a Southern meeting:rolleyes:

Now step back from the computer, I've been without heating and hot water for 4 days now:eek: British gas have been four times and fixed nothing and yesterday we had a major pipe burst under the dining room floor that has been leaking for ever by the looks of it and the cause of the misery. But hey we are insured and I'm of to my mates for a bath this evening:D and I get tomorrow morning off work whilst they finally fix it:j
Still bored with this debt busting thing, but trying so hard to stick to it:o

  • Hi Ya :hello:

Kent is a bit far, but saying that I have family down there, but dont think I am gonna be visiting for a while, was gonna do the long weekend at easter, but with the move I wont be able to! Stick it on freecycle hun.

I have had some stuff on freecycle and picked up a chinchilla cage yesterday from a freecycler, gave it a scrub, and Treacle happily jumping around in it now!

No hot water or heating is a nightmare, and water damage in you dining room hun have a hug:grouphug: glad you have insurance, even in tightening the money bag I still have insurance!

Hope you enjoy your bath at your mates house!

    catch you soon hun
