Second day of SWing today. I had:

Breakfast - 28g oats, banana, yoghurt (5 Syns, free, free)
Lunch - Pasta, 113g tuna, 1/2 onion (free, HEb, free)
Dinner - Pasta, 2 x 42g cheddar cheese (free, HEa, HEb)
Snacks - Apples, yoghurt (free, free)
Drinks - black tea, diet coke, water (all free)

I'm not going to weigh myself OR go to the gym until next Satuday - I want to see this week's results purely on SW! I'm not sure eating this much pasta is good for me!

I'm going to do the Rice thing tomorrow, lay off the pasta for a while. ;)

Hope everyone who's not well gets better soon. :)

Missy - all that different exercise is amazing! I don't know how you find the time.

    WooHoo!!:beer::j:j:beer::T:T:T

I love ExtraEasy:T!!! I lost 4.5 pounds this week! I was so bad on New Years Eve and again on Saturday night that I thought I had really blown it! I am so happy right now and feel totally inspired to be extra good this week!

    Love

That's fantastic news, Marion. Very well done you. (Clearly you didn't so much fall off the wagon as you did leap onto it and take a joyride.) :)

As you were the one who prompted me to do SW, if I don't match your weight loss this first week then I shall hold you entirely and wholly responsible.

    ;)

    wooo marion!! and dragon!!
  • afternoon peeps, or that should croak croak arggh actually. Worser today but feel cherpier:confused: .
Dragon -very good start:T . Marion you starlet hi5.gif.

Interestingly I started to lose weight on easy peasy but have switched to green for a coupla day as I felt the need for comforting carbs & more cheese and have put it back on. I always did do much better on red days so will have a few of them now. Don't be put of by this kiki :D - I find everyone is slightly different and my body just seems to respond better to meat than carbs. I have passed on your love to the magnificentBrighton, which is bathed in crisp winter sun today and the light is reflecting beautifully off all the white houses. My OH tells me there was snow first thing this morning.

Glad to hd a good NY eve vix and appreciated my death defying feats with the fireworks on the beach:D .

Jane - you need to say if your 2lbs is on of off!! I'm guesing off in this case, so well done.

    Right back to the duvet.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Thanks KiKi. Finding time is no problem for me, my only commitments are my school-age son and my part time work :) I have huge respect for people who have far more responsibilities than I do, but still manage to get a decent amount of activity into their week :) Good luck with SW.

Hope everyone has a great week, and especially hope you poorly ones get better soon x

Retired Lady - Well done :T

Just looking on the BBC online - some Uni Bod says dieting at this time of year bad idea as you make yourself more vulnerable to Flu.

You could look at it another way if you get Flu you wont eat that much and lose even more!! - Sorry bad idea, think they probably meant crash diets not us sensible eaters.

Did weigh myself Sunday after the horrible shock last wed - going better than expected but will weight to declare until wed am as usual hoping for a little bit more.

Dammit. I'm vegetarian so if my body responds that way then I stand absolutely no chance whatsoever. :D Especially since Australia doesn't sell Quorn. ('Sausages' in shrink wrap which are labelled 'Sanitarium' are the least appealing thing that I have ever seen.) I do remain very sceptical that I can lose weight eating all these carbs, but I am giving it a go - I shall report on Saturday (Sunday, your time).

Thank you! My parents live in Kent and texted to tell me that they had snow. I probably shouldn't mention that it was 28C here today. ;)

Sorry you're still not feeling well, I hope you get better soon. :)

Wish I worked part-time, Missy, I think I'd make a lot more time for activity if I did! Thanks for the SW luck - we'll see!

On the subject of chocolate (dear to the hearts of most of us), can I recommend the Prestate Choixi dark bar available online and at Waitrose, Tesco, it has anti oxidents - no rubbish additives or cheap ingrediants(Cadburys, Galaxy etc) and 10g ie two pieces is satisfying . Have a look at the Prestat website it tells you all about it.

No I don't work for them but I think its a good product for those of us who are not going to give up a sweet treat.
