Hi everyone, and a Happy New Year!
I've been soooo busy since Xmas I feel like my feet haven't touched the ground. I'm back on the weightloss wagon have got rid of all the yummy chocs etc, stocked up on the right foods and once again have some determination.
rinroo I'm an RC follower, I love the classes as I don't feel self conscious, you can generally work at your own ability level and the instructors are all trained. The food goes down well (even with my OH's dad who is as fussy as they come with food.) I find it easy to adapt my favourite recipes to accommodate the plan and have never felt hungry on it.
The wii & wii fit are coming out of hiding tomorrow ( I put them away when we went on holiday and haven't brought it out since!!)
Catch you all soon

I'm nosey, I guess jokes about skinny birds would be inappropriate (peeps will have to look at the photos if they want to know what I'm on about).
I guess that was Christmas dinner
Well done you, you look fab.

I am new to this thread, I have had a brief read though older posted and am amazed at the results some of you have achieved
Hi Rinroo :j I'm new too and I think everyone on the site is lovely and I know that the support here will help me to tackle the 3/4 st I have gained over the last few years.
I could relate to a lot of the things you said in your post and all I can say is if you can get through the first few weeks and start to see a weight loss that is the biggest incentive to keep going. The high of getting into clothes that have been too tight and then seeing them starting to hang off you is so much better than the temporary one from binge eating.
At my heaviest I went up to 17st after the birth of my eldest son, I lost 4st and then, after the birth of my second son, I got down to about 12st and maintained it for nearly 20 years!
I am cross with myself for letting it get so bad but I know I can do it, and so can you:T :T

Hey raph - you look sensational!!!! And you have nearly cleared your debts. You are inspirational raph, you have just stuck at it, just reducing your portions and eating what you like but sensibly and slowly upping your exercise:T .
Rinroo - well done for posting - you are very welcome to join us:T . Several of us here have health issues that limits the exercise so we understand the difficulties you face. This needs to be one day at a time and today you have posted here acknowledging your feelings around your weight and how it make you feel:T . Stick with us and we can help you and support you. You deserve to feel good about yourself. I'm really tired at the mo and need to be in bed but I know others will be along tonight tomorrow with more support for you.
FFM - hurrah for 3 days sticking to resolutions:)I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Sorry - other people had posted theirs and no-one had commented so I thought I'd post mine! I'm not embarrassed by my overweightness so I don't mind people knowing. I don't expect others to post theirs if they don't want to, but as other people had, I was just joining in.
Re the heights and weights thing - absolutely, weight is relative to many things, after all! If you were telling me because you think I would judge people on their weight (I'm not sure why you're telling me otherwise?!), I'm not. Posting my weight was for me and recording it.
However, I'll only post losses in future.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0
