Okay I am not sure if I am still drunk or hungover! (I have never had a hangover but I have seen others in inaction!), I ended up having 2 bottles of wine last night/this morning which is about a bottle and a half more than normal!

So for whoever is doing the chart this month I am starting from scratch again - top weight ever 321 pounds, current and therefore starting weight for this chart 295 pounds aka 21 stone and a pound - this time I hope to stay off the medication and SHIFT this!

  • Happy New Year peeps:j .
welcome to Vixstar(well done om losing 9lbs when you can't control all your meals:T catil (many follow plans just with us, not classes and have good sucess), petcorner (great attitude to 'not dieting':T )and kessik (fantastic loss so far - I do the chart at the mo - what time do you think you will be home on wed eve's?).
Delly - great to hear from you. You have been going through such a dreadful time: it will always be wonderful to see you back here, if only becasue life is begining to turn round for you. Hope 2009 brings some respite xx
Leverton - well done for facing the initial weigh in! Setting small goals is the best way with a big long term target. Looking forward tocelebrating your milestones.
Polkadot - that's lovely news and an extra motivation. I imagine exercising is a little difficult for you?

Great to hear from our foreign correspondent Lois
    Eating plan today
SW plan today: for very late breakfast I had fish(coly) & poached egg (free)
Lunch will be HM tomato & lentil soup free(such a late breakfast won't need more)
dinner will be roast veg (squash, sweet pot, carrots, corgettes with fry light & herbs, free,) & 1 cumberland sausage(5.5 syns) for me & 2 for OH( I find that hard giving him more but I need to remember I should be eating less than him, as he's a 6ft bloke)
HEA =milk in tea & cereal
snacks: bedtime: 2x weetabix(HEB), fruit & fruit with evap milk(need to syn that yet)
Yesterday I had 3 roses chocs (as per previous conversation 2 orange creams and 1 strawberry:D ) thinking they were 1 syn each. Nope: 2.5 each, so always check the syns BEFORE eating bb is today's lesson.

There is no doubt that so far, a return to classes aftera year is helping refocus my mind and stopping the biscuit/sugar grazing.

EDIT: dragon - I'm doing the chart and will restart you from scratch. You so deserve every pound you lose.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Hi all, another newbie wanting to join :) My name is Nicola, I'm 29 and need to lose about 1 stone and 3" of belly, my BMI is 23.1. My problem is really lack of exercise, too much sitting here doing nothing  I was going to buy a cross trainer, but then thought better of it, it will become a clothes rack before too long. So instead as i already have loads of fitness dvd's i am going to start doing those. I'm hoping with the support here i will actually do them this time instead of trying for a week and giving up :rotfl: Hopefully as i tone up i should lose the 1 Stone of fat, i think half of it is in my bum, lol. Good luck to all, Nicola.

Oh, the BMI calculator link on 1st post didn't work here is the new one clicky

    BB-

I'm on the social team at my group and help pack up but I'm usually home by 8:30. If that's too late for you to post results don't wait for me - I'll go in the following week. Our consultant is raving about the new SW plan but I'm worried it's gonna be complicated. Maybe she's just made it sound that way?!

Rats my computer connection is rubbish and has done you all a favour and eaten my waffly post. Anyway the important bit - thanks Brighton Belle but I 've had full control over my meals over the past few weeks so the 9lbs weren't too challenging. Hopefully I'll be able to up my exercise to compensate for the lack of food control.

Hi BB can you restart me too? (sounds painfull!) I'm getting a bit lost with my numbers and from the last I saw I think I was down 19lbs over all on the chart which I know is wrong (wish it wasn't though). Thanks!

    Welcome all the newbies.
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

Just doing my menu for next week and I was wondering how many sins there are in dried cranberries, none of my books state it. Can anyone help please?
    Thanks

Sorry but I have found 3 packets of the chow mein and sweet and sour mug shots pasta snacks in the cupboard, I remember they were free a year or so ago - are they still free?
    Thanks
