Morning all
Polkadot - with a 10 inch bottom and 6 inch top I wonder why you need to lose any more!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
Kiki where abouts in the world are you? Happy New Year!
I've had to cancel my NYE party tonight as I'm still not feeling well, but I suppose it helps me out diet wise. The guest were not too upset as most of them are recovering from flu anyway. Hopefully 2009 will be a bit healthier for all of us.
Think I might try to find a class near me be it SW, WW or RC. I need someone to cast an icy glare if I'm not losing any weight. BB and Marion make SW sound interesting.
Welcome all the newbies!I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
Here is my plan for the day:
Breakfast - fruit and yogurt with 5 scan brans (free, free and heb)
Lunch - home made bean & tomato soup - big bowl to fill me up (free)
Dinner - buffet and booze!!:o (2 hea and about 60 syns)
I have planned in loads of syns for tonight, however the other 6 days of this week I am cutting the syns down to a minimum so hoping it will sort of even out by Monday weigh in. Happy New Year!:beer::beer::beer:
Marion
ps - Any one going out tonight be careful on the roads!!:TWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Hopefully I will get on later tonight (Dr Dragon and I are staying in - we could have gone to the pub but we don't really have the money for it AND I might not have been able to get a seat which means I would be in agony for quite a few days afterwards - not the start to 2009 I would want!)
I kick start the RC again tomorrow so watch this space! I would like to be 2 or 3 stone lighter by the time we go away in mid July (actually I would like to be 12 stone lighter but I think 2 stone a month is pushing my luck :rotfl:)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Howdy peeps,
cheers for all the congrats...
He got me up at 7 am on xmas morning to go and open presents. He gave me a round prezzie....so I opened it up and it was a lovely glass trinket box with a blue butterfly on top...opened it up and there was a ring insidehad absolutely no idea!
Wedding will hopefully be sometime in 2010...meanwhile 2009 is more for saving, skinnifying and planning
Hope everyone has a good new year.

Thanks to everyone for their advice about which plan to follow. I am pretty much decided to go for the SW plan as I have many recipe books etc and I can follow the plan without having to pay to go to meetings (MSE style). I need to get myself into gear for a Monday start. I am currently planning a half term unit on RE for January:eek: , once I have my school planning stuff organised I can set my menu etc and my financial goals and targets for 2009 - amazing sig coming soon!! Watch this space.
Happy new year to all0 -

Todays eating so far:
brunch of bacon (fat removed), fried egg, baked beans & mushrooms.
snacks: 2x apple and some raw butternut squash & quorn burger
Dinner will be rabbit & cider casserole. (cider & apricots 2 syns per portion) all other veg contents free.
HEB of wheetabix before bed + HEa of milk in tea and cereal.
Might have 2x ryvita(3 syns) & banaa as filling snack somewhen too.
3 syns left to play with (I need less than 9 to lose weight, not the full 15)I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Hi everyone,
hope you're all well. I havent been keeping up with you as I've been having quite a rough time in the past few months. Things are starting to look up for me now thanks to the support of the people on the Rebuilding our Lives thread.
Anyway, I'm hoping to rejoin you in the New Year, but I wanted to come on and wish you all a very happy new year. I hope 2009 is a great year for you all.
Thank you for the support you gave me during my terrible times in the past 6 months. I appreciate it. You're all Angels.
Love.

Hello everyone:)
Im so excited. My friend who offered me the exercise bike just sent her DH round here with it-its not a bike....its an Orbitrek:T Which is even better for my hips after all (I dont know if Ive mentioned that I have cerebral palsy)
so I won't be putting so much pressure on them. DF thinks Im hilarious coz all I want to do now is get on it-and its new years eve:rotfl:
Im really bieng bad tonight-DF ordered chinese and I really have a weak spot for it, but I did ask for veg. I need to find a plan to accommodate him at meal time. He will only eat about 6 kinds of veg and I really struggle to do new things. I love cooking and will try anything. I do a menu plan each month but I always end up with the same stuff on it-I hate it. And my bad habits at lunch time have carried on to my almost three year old son who is starting to refuse food thats not pasta or pots:rolleyes:
So thats alot of thought for new years eve:D
Hope you all have a good one, I cant wait until Im old enough to start welcoming newbies now:)0 -
