As beanie says, read post one for added tips and take things I step at a time. I'm sure another member here has PCOS too and we have several member s who have lost a lot of lbs over th lasy year or two.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

:j Thanks Beanie, no I dont have my wii anymore. I ended up selling it to someone but I do have fitness dvd's which I love (well the one from davina) and they are 30min a time... maybe I had better get them dusted off again :rotfl:
Welcome PAP, just to say i love doing the Davina DVDs, do you have my 3 30 minute workouts by chance? i have been doing that one recently, but have just got her Super Body Workout, i love them both :j They are very easy to get used to and great workouts too. I don't half ache from super body though :o

nmm ~ hiya :) I have here power of three (dont like that one too much) and the three thirty min one ~love it! I really want to get either high enery or super body but I cant decide  I am usally sore after I do my 30 min one but after I have done it for a few days on the trot I get used to it :) Would you suggest the super body one than?

Definately recommend Super Body, everyone says its her best one. You have 2 basic 40 minute workouts and you have extras for super abs/legs, etc. The super fit is really great and i get a better workout than the cardio box on 3 30 mins and the super sculpt is a killer for the legs :rotfl: I've not even tried any extras yet.

Hi I was sent this by a friend that knows I

    a) loved Yoga and
    b) want to lose the steroid weight

I can no longer stand to do Yoga (and indeed even the lying down ones and sitting ones I cannot do either!), so if anyone would like this please PM me and we can make arrangements.

  • Yes, I hope to be seeing less of me too!!:rotfl:

I have used weight loss resources before, but now use www.sparkpeople.com - mainly because its free! lol theres so much info on there and I can track my calories intake, and exercise on there.

I'm off for HHA at 8am - either cycling or a swim, haven't decided yet, I will see where my mood takes me (hopefully not to stay in bed :D )

Looks like the DVD could have gone then :rotfl:, I just thought it was a shame to be stuck on our DVD shelf when I can't use it!

Hi everyone. I havent posted much lately because I have so much uni work to do and Im having one of those weeks where EVERYTHING feels like an effort! I have only been doing short walks as the dog doesnt get her stitches out till thursday, but today I took her on one of our "normal" hour and 20 minute walks and I felt absolutely shattered! Now I wouldnt call myself fit (LMAO) but its amazing how a week off can lower your fitness levels.

Had a chat with OH about how he really isnt helpful with me trying to lose weight. We dont go on regular nights out, and he works from home as do I in a way as Im a student. Therefore even though we are at home a lot we arent together spending quality time, and dont work to set hours so often can work all night. Therefore have got into the habits of having a night in at the weekend with a takeaway and a good film/catch up on tv. OH wont budge on that, nor does he stop buying junk. However, had a little breakthrough when he got jealous of my yoghourts and requested a few flavours as a replacement for some of his choc/nuts snacks!

However, Im working around the weekly takeaway and ok main meals with healthy lunches etc and am getting there so I cant complain. If I can lose weight slowly (when youve been overweight for so long, waiting a little longer to be "slim" wont hurt) and still have a weekly takeaway then thats fine by me! However, if I struggle...OH wont know whats hit him!

Hope everyone with health issues has good news/feels better soon, and congrats to all weight loss!
