Congratulations Efrieze.:j :j :j (and on behalf of teachers everywhere - thanks for keeping us in work) Do pop in and let us know how you're getting on.
Marian :rotfl: :rotfl: - I wish I had lots of siblings to send hearts full of ashes to .... as the moment I've got my father, father-in-law and mother -in -law sitting in plastic jars in the spare bedroom and no one can agree where to deposit them. (hope that doesn't offend anyone, too)
Tagz there are so many things that your lump can be and most are completely OK. And if it isn't OK as Marain said it can all be sorted out. :grouphug:
PS lost 0.5lb this week ... so 5lb altogether. HOORAY - may not seem much but it's continuing on the downward trend after rather too much upward trending.0 -
oh dear granny. my grandad was sneakily seposited in a bunker at the golf club that had always given him trouble.
had a couple of honest moments with my new boss that will ease my stress levels i think so high hopes for this week.
great news for efrieze and glad to hear tagz being so positive. makes me feel a bit rubbish for being so hung up on food really.0 -
efrieze I'm so pleased for you
best of luck with everything.

Hey everyone,
I went shopping today with mum and dad. Free drive to westwood ha. I bought a shirt from River island, look awesome in it! It was priced at £26.99 and i got it for £19.99 because there is a really tiny mark on it and the belt (which i will take off) had a rip near the hole. So bargain i think so.
I've applied to volunteer for the Kent Events Team. Sounds awesome. Im going to wait to hear from them because i want to offer my services reading the local gazette so blind people can "read" the local paper. Otherwise i want to volunteer for something involving parkinsons, but cant find anything sadly. Hopefully i'll get something soon though.
Ha, my dog is laying next to me on the sofa, with his face in my kit kat wrapper, probably inhaling the chocolate smell. Hes so cool.
Tagz: Good luck, better to get these things sorted quickly to ease your mind.0 -
efrieze - that's great news, many congrats. Can't believ your LO is already 3 though:eek: .
Marion - that happened to a friend of mine - I think it was the fact receiving a portion of ashes was unexpected that threw her, and she too ended up giggle over 'which bit did I get'. I'm not suprised it has thrown you some, and of course it does doubly remind you she is gone. You have done so well since her death last year not to let it throw you off your weigh loss plan.
Granny - you star, you have made this month's challenge:T :T .I know how significant that is for you. Congrats from the fellow strugglers camp:D .
Kpc - sorry you are struggling. Again, I am fairly hopeless at any helpful advice in these situations and entirely selfishly don't want to lose you from the forum so hope something clicks for you. I do think if you are struggling, it can be a rubbish time of year to lose weight, as our bodies must crave warming carbs etc to offset the weather.
Tagz - glad you were able to see your doc. Hope an appointment comes through soon:grouphug: . I always think I'll be immune form things like this becasue surely I've had my quota of health probs. You are a reminder that life ain't like that.
Raph - thanks very much for your offer. I'm sure no one will shout at you - no one ever has at me when I get it wrong:D .
I have no idea if the spreadsheet will open for you - PM me your email and we can but try. As for photo bucket - I'm sure that will work just as well. I am so computer illiterate, I only know how to do it the way I was shown originally by Delly, but I can't see why photobucket wouldn't work as essentially it does the same thing I think.
Dirtyflannel - I hope you are still reading. I don't think anyone picked up your IBS query. I know very little about IBS/weight loss so can't help other than to suggest googling - there must be advice out there somewhere.
Buttonmoon - another one to reach a sixe 16 - it's a great feeling I remember:T .
Time to be debt free - well done on facing the scales. Look forward to seeing les of you. Several newbies this week who I have noted but may not appear on the chart until a first loss have been posted:
plaque*angel, dirty flannel, amanda30, schoolrun mum,
EDIT Vix - that sounds a great place to be voluteering: will get you great experience/skills building I think for job huntingI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
BB thank you for noticing - yes I am thrilled to thrillednessland for reaching the 5lb mark --- haven't done that for months and months.
You really are amazing, you seem to keep track of everyone. Not just the ups and downs of weight change but of just about anythig that everyone says. How do you do it?0 -
feeling mizzrable and want choc, but managed a good stomp round the fields and lunchtime and that perked me up a bit. still grumpy though.
But Tagz:grouphug: wanted to add my hugs and say very brave, very sensible and really really best of luck with progress.

on a quick 'cheaper' retail therapy note, I do shop sometimes at Simply Be / Simply Yours online (https://www.simplyyours.co.uk sizes 14-30 something), and one thing I have learned is ALWAYS call them before you place the online order and say you had a 20% voucher come through or have had an email you can't find or had heard from a friend etc - I've never got less than 10% this way. Also you can order up loads of stuff and try it all on in privacy of your own home and you can also send the whole lot back if nothing is working for you, and all you pay is the postage of £2.99. DO be aware though that this is a 'credit account' system they operate which was news to me, and works very like a credit card. SO send clothes you don't want back well within the time limit, and any you buy pay for immediately would be my advice.
it is a satisfying window shopping thing though, and I find the prices pretty good.
thought as weight loss thread and all sized clothes it might be good here, but will post on shopping thread too.

Realise this is an odd time of day to do this but does anyone fancy joining me in a HHA at 5.40? I'm going to do a half hour heart rate monitored walk, not all that keen but have done nothing at all today and have got a wine and cheese evening to attend if I can stay awake! (But I'm not having much of either)0
