blew the whole thing out of the water after the walk etc yesterday. BIG tea, junky supper, red wine, cheesecake ... heartburn, bloated, uncomfortable night (wheat and sugar are not my friend even without the poundage to worry about). Shouldnt have stood on the scales this morn as they tell a silly mad story. However have started the day with new resolve.

Breakfast - hot water with lemon and ginger, always soothes the belly. Activia yog (love this and the Rachel's bio Greek, though bit expensive it is heaven) with blackberry coulis (homemade, no added sug, was for the cheesecake but have thrown the rest of that away!), cup of coffee on the go now too
    Snack will be apple.
Lunch is chicken and spinach soup (boiled up roast chicken bones from yesterday, have lovely stock and last of the spinach from the garden = v cheap, v tasty)
Snack of another piece of fruit
Supper is leftover chicken with salad and probably a bit of bubble & squeak lightly fried in little olive oil, so ok I reckon!

Vino is off the agenda for the rest of the week at least.

Strong resolve, fingers crossed :A x Claire

Sorry to hear about your binge last night clare, but at least you're looking on the positive side now :)

Reporting a 2lb gain so thats only 4lb loss this month :( I have never monitored my weight at all so i don't know what it normally is. I also only have basic analogue scales so no idea what fat/muscle % is. On the positive side i don't have as many wobbly bits everything is looking more toned :T At least i now have something to compare and hopefully improve on next month.

Here is what I am/have eaten for today:

    Breakfast - fruit and yogurt (eaten at class after weigh in - every little helps:D;)}

Lunch - ham and onion omelette, 1 tblsp EV olive oil as heb

Dinner - rice bake with leftover ham, vegetables, fruit and yogurt for later in the evening.

Sort of a busy day so it is a quick and easy day to go with the extra easy plan!

    Well done ot the loosers:j :j :j :j

claire best way to start with a new resolve, what is done is done, can't change it but you can for the better by getting back on track and sticking to it to loose;)

2 hours 48 mins on the wii fit today to make up for not doing it fri/sat/sun, very happy with it, got 3116 on the 30 mins aerobic steps, came 1st after many attempts on three other things so OH has not got competition (he also has a job unlike me:rotfl: :rotfl: )

My pedometre says 7,544 steps so far:D

  • hello peeps.
This week will be the last chart for January and I will be doing it around 6pm as I hope to be out for the evening.

Does anyone fancy doing the chart for February?:D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Hi all, a small 0.8 lb loss for me :) must be the running working cos I've eaten alot of junk this week.
    My other scores...
    Body fat % ~ 26.8
    Water % ~ 50.0
    Muscle % ~ 31.2

My body fat should be between 17%-24% so it's getting close, no where near the 46.something % it was when I first joined the gym!
Be interesting to see how these results change next week :)

Also...ran 4.28 miles this morning! I only stopped once for a minute to take off my sweat-top, but ran the entire time!
