My local Woolworths (Notting Hill) was half empty and they were selling shop fixtures and a lot of old stock. It will close the 27th.

We got a 19'' flat screen LCD digital and HD ready, Venturer TV/DVD combi today for £107 from Woolies in Peterborough.

In woolies Whitley Bay at 4pm this afternoon they had one DS lite bundle "guitar hero" bundle for £87. Includes console (grey with guitar hero on cover) and the guitar thingy with buttons on, and the game. Was £134. Place is starting to look empty now (6 days to go) and they are selling the fittings. Not much else to write home about but I did get a baby pink ghetto blaster for a tenner (4 left by the tills) a pink soft bed throw for £4.80 and a pink pop up laundry thing for £3.60. DD has just had bedroom done in pink. I forgot to stock up on batteries, the worth it ones are 40% off, so not badly priced if you don't have chargeables (we do for aa and aaa but not the weirder sizes, which you can guarantee will be needed for christmas toys). I also got What is a tad annoying is the new stickers they have put over everything are the extra sticky type so you cannot get them off but it is OK if you are buying for yourself.

Argos, ToysRUs, Toymaster, WH Smiths, Most Department Stores, Supermarkets, Amazon, John Lewis, ELC and absolutely best of all any Independent Toy Retailers. Just a few thoughts
