still a newbie to trying slimming world..i see you have free pasta on green days..but how would you count the sauce that id out with it..its a bought one....i see you could count the parmesan cheese as a healthy extra......
thanks guys....
also regarding other bought foods...how do you know what your allowed?
Any bought sauces will be counted in your syns. Try and make some pasta sauces with syn free ingredients, that way you arent wasting your syns.
e.g.
Basic creamy pasta sauce
Serves: 1 or 2
Ingredients
chopped onions
sliced mushrooms
mixed herbs
chopped clove of garlic
½ pint water
virtually fat free fromage frais or Quark
Method
1. Put the chopped onions, sliced mushrooms, herbs and garlic into a pan with the water. Bring to the boil and let simmer for quite a while until it is reduced and caramelised.
2. Let it cool a bit and then stir in the fromage frais or Quark. Make sure the vegetables are cool enough so as not to make the fromage frais curdle.
Sin value per serving:
Green Day - Free
Red Day - Free0 -
Estherina - Passta is a free food - add some veggies (mushrooms, onions etc) and cook them all together in the passata to make free pasta sauce! Morrisons do a chilli and pepper passata which is fab as a pasta sauce! Bought some more last night!0

Do you go to the classes?
If you do, the books will tell you or you can receive a password for the SW website which will have all the information you need on syns etc.0 -
