Chocolate is probably why I'm at SW - lol. The problem is that the recipe makes 12 and there's only me and the OH. Even halving the quantities would be 6, so 48 syns each (he's at SW too).Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -

You're not the only one. I couldn't make these as I would scoff the lot, they would call my name from the kitchen until they were all gone :rotfl: :rotfl:
Love that coconut rice pudding recipe. I used to make one in the slow cooker with tinned cocounut milk and it was fab. Will give it a go. I went shopping to Tesco last night and saw flaked rice instead of pudding rice, and it doesn't take so long to cook so I bought that instead. When I got back I put it into the website and it's loads of sins, so another trip is needed to get some proper pudding rice. Wonder what the difference is??:hello:0 -
Angie you are so lovely to us all!
There are 2 recipes in the WW mag which sounds fab but they contain a tin of coconut milk - high in syns but maybe worth it.
Anyway, what's a fast forward week pls?aww shucks
Coconut milk was discussed only a page or so back.... the 'reduced fat' tins are less than 1/2 the syns of the full fat, and I have never truly spotted the difference. Still high syns but very do-able
As for fast forward .. it is a plan that you get from the consultant if they feel it is suitable for you. It tends to be offered as a last ditch attempt after someone gets stuck on the main plans. You have a set number of 'units' a day, and you have a small booklet with exceptionally prescriptive, low fun meals of various values. You select your choice from the 'menu'... there is no free food, no subsitutions and not a lot of fun (although you don't go hungry) ... all that said, it is a straightjacket if you need one, and it kickstarted a long standing plateau of mine with a 6lb loss in one week
Just a query - are you a class member, or going this 'alone' ... (with us of course)

chicken breast (cooked)
Wafer thin turkey ham (i use Bernard Matthews but it has a syn or two in it i think)
spring onions
cottage cheese or quark to bind
clove garlic and salt and pepper
chop your spring onions up nice and small then blend everything together in a food processor until smooth add salt and pepper to taste and serve with veg sticks or a HB choice of ryvita, maybe even place a blob in the middle of a cos lettuce leaf and surround with chopped toms and cucumber. It really is delicious.DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -
