  • Hi
I can't find this Asda reduced fat Egg Mayo on the syns online at all. The only one I can see is Asda Egg Mayo @ 1/2 syn per tbsp?

Has it just not been added to the online bit? Is it def free?

Also, could you tell me if a WM Pitta is a HEB on any day at all?

    Ta!

Kandi the Morrisons sausages are Morrisons Eat Smart Pork Sausages (8 pack chiller only) the ones of the same name in the freezer are 5 syns each  They're about £1.79/£1.99 per pack. The Lincolnshire and the Cumberland (same style packet) are 0.5syns each.

Im sure Pitta is not HEB on any day - you would have to syn it - I just checked my book and it lists 57g of ANY wholemeal bread and says (except pitta) next to it.

nearly-30 - i don't think the egg mayo is online. Pitta bread (even WM) isn't a HEb as there's not enough fibre in them to justify it. IIRC they are 7syns each.

  • Thanks Kandi - thought so but wasn't sure. Will still to my WM roll

Cheers skint_catt - will grab a few pots tonight I reckon!

Weigh in on Wednesday - quite interested to see what has happened this week. Had 2 x EE days over weekend and just can't believe I've done it correctly as it felt like I ate extremely well so we'll see....

Sorry I took so long to get back to you but my 'pooter' threw a wobbly. We used the Syn calculator to work it out.

  • Wow  5 pages and its only 3.30  I can tell some of you are at home today :rotfl:

I am too (but then, I always am.... ) but so is DD. We have built the mega snowman (same size as DD) and it is *still* snowing.

    Had to be green today ;

B - 0% yog with blueberries, banana and sweetner on the top ('look mummy it has even snowed on your breakfast!') tea, milk HA

L - mushroom and tomato omlette with HB cheddar on top, peas and SW chips (skins on cos its quicker:rotfl: ). choc orange muller after

D - lasagne made with a chunky tomato and vegetable sauce, flaglot beans, mushrooms and spinach. Sauce concocted from eat honestly cottage cheese and milk (other HA) eaten with a nice big salad.

A gin tonight will be 2.5 syns - I'm sure I'll find a few more along the way

As per usual on a green day, I need another B choice  .... maybe some parmesan or some pine nuts on the lasagne??

Just had tears on my WI day- why do I get so stressed? OH only asked if I fancied a chinese tonight (we have a mixed starter each with plain rice) and I burst into tears! Probably not even going to make it tonight as the snow is heavy now as predicted and doesn't look like it'll stop anytime soon!

I feel for you today - I know how it can be but dont let it get you down.

If you can't make it to class dont fret just put it behind you and start again positive.
Imagine that you did get weighed in and imagine that you STS or gained 1-2lbs, then stick in hard this week and by next week you will have a nice suprise hopefully. :D

I cant remember who posted this (sorry ) but its on my office wall and i look at it often, I dont think it will hurt to post it again:

When you've eaten too much and you can't write it down,
And you feel like the biggest failure in town.
When you want to give up just because you gave in,
And forget all about being healthy and thin.
So What! You went over your Syns a bit,
It's your next move that counts...So don't you quit!
It's a moment of truth, it's an attitude change.
It's learning the skills to get back in your range.
It's telling yourself, "You've done great up till now.
You can take on this challenge and beat it somehow."
It's part of your journey toward reaching your goal.
You're still gonna make it, just stay in control.
To stumble and fall is not a disgrace,
If you summon the will to get back in the race.
But, often the strugglers, when loosing their grip,
Just throw in the towel and continue to slip.
And learn too late when the damage is done,
That the race wasn't over...they still could have won.
Lifestyle change can be awkward and slow,
But facing each challenge will help you grow.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint in a cloud of doubt.
When you're pushing to the brink, just refuse to submit,
If you bite it, you write it....But don't you quit!
You can stand there and agonize........
Till your agony's your heaviest load. (Emily Saliers)
