daisymews - think about why you want to lose weight - think of that bikini or new dress or new man - whatever you want!
Think about if you put a bit of work in at the gym today, then it'll shape your body, tone whatever you need to tone! I know its hard - I was going to walk to SW last night but when I left work it was sooooo cold I couldn't bear the thought, though I have asked if any kind persons got a treadmill on Freecycle!

Good morning
Isn't oats so simple quite high in syns?6-8?
btw what a fantastic weight loss, well done. I tend to think you can't lose weight as you get older but if you're retired and have managed to do that i Really have no excuse!
Don't know about the syn value because I use it as a HEB. I add my own blueberries as only the original oats so simple can be used as a heb. I also have one oat scan bran with it.:D

ps - I did retire early and started slimming world about 3 years ago, before I retired!:oWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Had the Slimming World Spaghetti Carbonara last night, slightly altered recipe as not that keen on parmesan, so opted to put in Cheddar from my HE A, it was delicious, and pretty quick to make, will definately now be on my regular meal list.
Also tried the Mushroom stroganoff, this week, liked the sauce but not terribly keen on shitake mushrooms as it turns out as they tasted a bit slimy to me, so next time will perhaps try with oyster mushrooms or some other style as normally quite keen on mushrooms.Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:0 -
Has anyone a recipe for polenta crisps? I have tried the lasagne crisps, but I find it's a bit hit and miss.. thanx
SW Convert - started 20/09/09 -3 Stone to lose!!

lo_bush - only you can say 'I told you so' :rotfl:
I'm getting back into the panic mode before WI and I don't know why. If I start losing regularly then maybe I'll become less obsessed - or do I need to do that before

Hi all,
Catt: So pleased the damage wasn't as bad as you thought .......................... am I allowed to say 'I told you so' ?
Peachy: Don't worry about the gain over Christmas, most of us gained and with everything else going on in your life, it's hardly surprising that something had to give, however we all know that you will lose those pounds again.
Angie: Have you considered seeing out your valentines challenge first and then making a decision on your target? You never know you might surprise yourself!
Marion: You are a star, even when you are talking about something so sad ( losing your mum) you still manage to raise a smile. Your outlook on life is to be applauded, oh to be so positive!
Dlb: you must be so excited, that target is within touching distance, well done.

Hi magic - yes you can use both HEa's on milk. I often use both on cheese!
I'm not too bad, feeling better though not as positive but not down either! Started my superfree food thingy;
B; quorn sausages, egg & mushrooms
S; small piece of choc (5) and 1 litre of sf squash
L; Egg Salad
D; Not sure yetOH out so I might just go green and have a pasta n sauce instead of stir-fry - may as well save it for when we're both in!
