:j :j Well done Peachy - considering the last few months you have had, I think that is fantastic.... I'm sure you have done well this week, hope you enjoy your week on EE, how did you find it?
Thank you angie & magicbeans , i am ok about it , just go's to show that you can't quess what your weight is or take anything for granted . If i had'nt been and got weighed this week or gone back on my diet , i know my weight would start sneaking on , i know i've had so much on , with helping my son sort out after having a new born baby given to him to bring up on his own , because the mother didn't want him , but life is stressful for everyone .
SO sometimes we have to put ourselfs first a little , try to stay focused or its like a visus circle , we get down , put on , try to juggle , get depressed and give up ..
So i'm now back on track and loving this E/E diet , so stuffed and so easy and it fits around nomal family eating :T , peachy xx

Good Morning everyone! I am very bleary eyed this morning, I woke up at 2:30 in the morning and could not get back to sleep. My tossing and turning was starting to seriously annoy my grouch of a husband DH so I decided to get up and make a cup of tea. Went back to bed at 5:30 and just got up a few minutes ago:o Still feel tired though and I also ate 2 brownies that were hidden in the freezer for emergency snacks:o:mad:.

Do you ever have nights like that? It might have been because of a parcel I received from Canada on the weekend. I knew my sister was sending me a few of my Mom's things but there was also a pewter heart which had some of her ashes in!

Really wasn't expecting that and although I could see the funny side eventually I guess it must have disturbed me more that I thought. Mom died early last year but since the funeral was in Canada I couldn't get to it at the time. I guess this brings home the fact that she really is gone! Apparently there are 7 of these memorial hearts so each of us kids have one! Wonder which bit I got:rotfl::rotfl:(sorry if anybody gets offended by that but sometimes you have to laugh don't you)

    Love
    Marion

I am having a bit of a left over day today as I sorted out the freezer last night and found a few bits to use up.:D

Breakfast - oats so simple with frozen blueberries and milk (heb.free, hea)

Lunch - SW recipe beef burger in a roll with 300g rustic oven chips ( I have some stewing steak defrosting that I am going to try putting in my blender/chopper thingie and see if I can make my own mince. We don't really like stew and if I make my own mince I know what is in it;)) (free + 6 syns for the roll & 3 syns for the chips)

Dinner - Quorn sausage casserole with mashed potato and sweetheart cabbage. Might have fruit and yogurt to follow. (all free)

    See you later
    Love

Isn't oats so simple quite high in syns?6-8?

btw what a fantastic weight loss, well done. I tend to think you can't lose weight as you get older but if you're retired and have managed to do that i Really have no excuse!

    Hi all,
Catt: So pleased the damage wasn't as bad as you thought .......................... am I allowed to say 'I told you so' ?
Peachy: Don't worry about the gain over Christmas, most of us gained and with everything else going on in your life, it's hardly surprising that something had to give, however we all know that you will lose those pounds again.
Angie: Have you considered seeing out your valentines challenge first and then making a decision on your target? You never know you might surprise yourself!
Marion: You are a star, even when you are talking about something so sad ( losing your mum) you still manage to raise a smile. Your outlook on life is to be applauded, oh to be so positive!
Dlb: you must be so excited, that target is within touching distance, well done.
