I'm thinking of having an EE day tomorrow, will I be ok with the following:

    Dinner -
Minced beef wraps (about 10 syns as we only have standard beef mince, not extra lean)

    Does that sound ok?

I wonder what you are wrapping your wraps in? Cos lettuce leaves always are tasty and effective, but tortilla wraps are high in syns..

Everyone is talking about the new Easy Extra plan...the weight loss from last week was fantastic ....someone lost 8.5ln.....
feeling positive and plan to post here at least once a day.....
have checked the EE booklet and notice Fruit and Fibre is not on the list for cereals....i do love cereal in the morning but not a weetabix or porridge type of person......any ideas ?

    Welcome back :D

The EE booklet is only a summary of the full EE plan. You are allowed any HB from the main book (or website) as a B choice on EE. If F&F was a B choice on red or green, then it is also a B choice on EE.

EE is explained in detail on the website, and will confirm what I have said.

Yes we are using tortilla wraps, just one for me as I find them quite filling. I'm just guessing on the syns as I'm using a recipe I found in an old SW magazine and it said 3 syns if using extra lean beef mince and a tortilla

Can I ask if anyone on here has actually reached their goal weight without reducing the amount of free foods? I was wondering if for example you should start to choose a smaller jacket potato or smaller banana as your weight slows down. Also if Muller lights are free - say someone had 3 a day, would they be advised to cut down to 1?

Just curious as to how it works really. My weight loss (I don't have a lot to lose and I gained a bit at Christmas so have to get that off) seems painstakingly slow at times and then stuck despite varying food etc.

I tend to eat quite a lot at my meals as I would rather do that than be hungry and not have the opportunity to eat something sensible. How do you manage your portions ladies??:)

I worry about this too. I don't have much to loose - a stone, and I am worried I might eat too much and I don't loose anything.

If slimming world is so great and filling, why am I starving and thinking of food all the time? :(

Tortilla's are 7 syn's plus depending on the brand you are using - so be careful. THeres a recipe in the small booklet that comes with this for wraps using lettuce - trying them tomorw for t

Well I'm back and lost half a pound. Doesn't sound much but slow & steady is my style (it appears!;) ). I stuck to EE 100% and exercised plenty. I have not been hungry, I feel well and I've made some great SW meals for us all.

One of our males lost 7 lbs on EE and there were several ladies who lost 3 and 4 lbs on the EE.

I'll try it again this coming week and try and drink more water because I don't think I've had enough this week. I can usually tell because I get a bit "headachey".

Afraid it's a bit higher than that. Lean steak mince is 3 syns per 100g. And tortillas:

Basic/Non Branded Foods Bread, Tortillas, wheat flour 42g standard
    red.gif Original 7 Syns green.gif Green 7 Syns

The magazine used a mini-tortilla, as I recall.
