I can't find the post I saw about choosing extra cheese as a HEB on an EE day, but just to clarify...........you can use any HE from the Food Optimising book as a HE on the Extra Easy plan. They were not put into the EE booklet in order to keep it as simple as possible, but I think it's likely they'll be listed on the next reprint as it's a question which keeps coming up.

So - if you want to use cheese as your HEA on the EE plan and again as the HEB (as it's listed on a Green day) then you can, so enjoy :D
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Just off to weigh in - this will be my first full week on EE and am HOPING that I lose something. I have stuck to it 100% and done loads of brisk walking. I can't really do any more can I? Please have your fingers crossed for me. :D

You don't need crossed fingers - if you stuck to plan 100% you'll have lost, you'll see :D

Excellent!!! I like to have grated mozzarrella on pasta dishes, so I can have twice as much :T

I've just made the Lemon Mousse terrine from page 84 of the current SW magazine. It's in the fridge, I'll let you know tomorrow how it is. I'm not sure how well it will set. It needed 4 tsp gelatine powder and I had 2 sheets left, so it may be more like Angel Delight than a set mousse! :rotfl:

However, it says it serves 4 at 0.5 syn per serving but to be honest, I think it is more like 6 portions, so virtually free :j

    Hi everyone.
I've just found this thread and have been on Slimming World for a year now.
Its been really hard going, not the diet but medical problems that hinder my weight loss, am hoping to get them sorted this year the ball is rolling waiting on a call back from hospital.
I started this time last year and have lost 2st 3lbs. My Dr said I had to lose 4 stone last year so isn't happy that that hasn't happened.
I stick to the plan like glue, yet every ounce to lose is like a lb!
Someone in my class this week lost 12lbs and she's been coming for over 6 mths. We said she must have had a baby in her sleep :rotfl:
I lost 6 1/2lb this week ................................. but put on 7lb the previous week.
I didn't see it as a loss because of the 7lb gain, but my consultant said its still a loss because I could have kept the 7lb.
Trying to stay postive about losses here.
I'm not even going to attempt to try the EASY plan.
I have to stick to the RED because I have a thyroid condition so the GREEN is not recommended for me.
Will try to keep up with this thread for more motivation.

So I CAN have milk(HEa) and cheese(HEb) on a EE day??? and I was never going to bother with EE because I was told you can't!!!

week 2 weigh in and a 4 pound loss again, so 8 pounds so far, all on EE.

Week 3 is always a 'dodgy' week for me, my body seems to slow down and put the defences up even if I'm following the plan, but i'm going to really concentrate on adding in Paul McKenna's techniques and if it is a tiny loss (or none at all) then I'll just grit my teeth and keep going.

WELL DONE BB - thats a fab loss - def shows that EE can work - keep up the good work

    Evening all!

I've had another good day, green for me in the end as we forget to get beef mince out of the freezer!

    Breakfast -
    Mullerlight with blueberries and strawberries

    Lunch -
Hifi bar and baked potato with baked beans and cheese plus a banana

    Dinner -
I made a wonderful soup type thing with mushrooms, leeks, potatoes, chopped tomatoes, a little marmite, and a can of chickpeas, yummy! and another hifi bar

    Syns - 2 x custard cream biccies

I've also had milk in tea throughout the day

I still have 9 syns left so I may have another biccie later but only if I really want one :)
