Burlesque_Babe wrote: »Can I just double check this - I'm just about to make it. The SW website doesn't mention any HE's?
It says
Serves: 12
Syns per serving:
3½ Syns on Green, Original and Extra Easy 2 Weetabix
113g/4oz sultanas
142ml/5floz skimmed milk
142ml 5floz water
113g/4oz self-raising flour
1 teaspoon mixed spice
14g/½ oz artificial sweetener (optional)
1 egg, beaten
Followed by the method. I'm going to make it in muffin tins so I have it already portioned up and take a couple to work each day. We have a coffee shop which sells biscuits and cake slices and I really don't want to get back into my pre SW habit of 2 Jammie Wagon Wheels a day!
Worked it out for you!
The maths is either
HB + part HA + 34 syns .... if 10 portions, each portion is 3.5 plus HE's
or
HB (6 syns) + 1/3 HA (2 syns) + 34 syns ..... if 12 portions, 3.5 each
essentially, both recipes are the same syn value, just presented differently. If you are going to have only 1 or 2 or so a day, then you would be better going for 12 portions at 3.5 each, and keeping you HE's in tact...0 -
Just thought I'd pass on - I made the potato and leek bake out of the free recipe booklet in the current mag and it was yummy! I didn't use any filo pastry - it didn't need it. :T
And a thought... how did SW work BEFORE the invention of Fry light...?0 -

I'm thinking of having an EE day tomorrow, will I be ok with the following:
Breakfast
Eggs, bacon and mushrooms fried in frylight (all free)
Mid morning snack
2 x weetabix with mullerlight (HEb and free)
Lunch -
Tomato, mushroom, leek, potato and chickpea soup and pasta (all free)
Dinner -
Minced beef wraps (about 10 syns as we only have standard beef mince, not extra lean)
Does that sound ok?They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

I crawled back to class tonight with my tail between my legs......i have put on 6lb since last weigh in on 11th Dec
Everyone is talking about the new Easy Extra plan...the weight loss from last week was fantastic ....someone lost 8.5ln.....
feeling positive and plan to post here at least once a day.....
have checked the EE booklet and notice Fruit and Fibre is not on the list for cereals....i do love cereal in the morning but not a weetabix or porridge type of person......any ideas ?0 -
Just popping in for a quick catch up...and to ask a couple of questions.
Bought some new Alpen lights today, Tofee and Chocolate, does anyone know if they are ok to have as a healthy extra?-haven't seen them mentoned on here before. Also are all heinz beans free on a green day? Have bought myself some chilli flavoured ones for work tomorrow and thought I should double check.
This thread is fab at keeping me on the straight and narrow...second weigh in Saturday, lost 6.5 lbs first week!On a sliming world journey to loose 62lb: -3.50 -
consultant31 wrote: »I can't find the post I saw about choosing extra cheese as a HEB on an EE day, but just to clarify...........you can use any HE from the Food Optimising book as a HE on the Extra Easy plan. They were not put into the EE booklet in order to keep it as simple as possible, but I think it's likely they'll be listed on the next reprint as it's a question which keeps coming up.
So - if you want to use cheese as your HEA on the EE plan and again as the HEB (as it's listed on a Green day) then you can, so enjoy
The only bit that makes me ponder this is the online Food Diary as it has been set up with EE as an option to select (along with Original/Green/mix2match) and the B box only gives bread, cereal bars, cereal & crisp breads, dried, canned & cooked fruit, Hifi bar, oil and soup. Will they be updating this?0 -

Youve got me thinking as Ive only been using Lean Steak mince, not extra lean. Is that ok or should I be adding syns? Ive just scoffed a huge plate of chilli, and had loads last week . There is no fat coming of it when i brown it.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
