  • I'm hoping my thoughts of a 'backwards cold' are true. Last week I started with a cough, then a bit of a bunged up nose and now I have a headache, sore neck and feel knackered, which is how I usually start - but this is a cold in reverse for me!

I've got a banana and date cake in the oven, it smells lovely.

oh lordy! it's all a bit depressing in here innnit? Although i very agree with the synopsis of needy behaviour... i used to be like that when i was younger, now i have apathy, which doesn't need maintaining!!

I've been busy all day, tried to read earlier but got washed away on a tide of work and this is the first chance i've had!

BB - I felt like that a couple of years ago. 23rd December - left work at 12.30pm absolutely fine. got home at 1.30pm and felt like death warmed up and was then comletely out of it until 2nd January - no Christmas   and no New Year's celebrations:eek:   was better just in time to go back to work:mad:

Saying that I was too poorly to eat my lobster bisque soup on Christmas day so everyone kinda new I was poorly. Shivery - cover me with a blanket and a minute later I was burning up!

Couldn't stay awake long enough to take any flu sachets and couldn't swallow any tablets. Next door neighbour gave me her spare bottle of calpol cos I was managing liquids (after a fashion).
