  • Morning Len- how are you today?
Two year old hey? Well it's been a whle since mine were tiny, but plenty of DVDs or CBBC channel, colouring stuff, lego type stuff always went down well with mine..can you go out to a park or somewhere?Feed the ducks?Whatever you do hope it goes well....I am supposed to be going Xmas shopping with DH (who hasn't done any yet!) but he came off a motorbike yesterday(still thinks he's 25!) and is complaining he thinks he's broken a rib! I think it's a ploy by him to get me to do his shopping-well I've finished mine, and if he thinks I'm going out alone to buy for his family (and ME!) he's wrong!!!!

    Morning All

Len I would suggest you head to the playpark, take a football and some bread to feed the ducks. Guessing he still has a nap in the day? Actually he probably doesn't at 2, don't think my DD did that often at 2. How about making some christmas cookies with him, painting or making some decorations. Or if you're feeling lazy like me stick Cbeebies on and that will keep him entertained Im sure ;)
    Have fun Len

Off to work in a moment then I have a List of what I need to do this afternoon (waitrose, post office, butchers, put holly & ivy up and make mincepies)

Can't quite believe its Christmas on Thursday
    Have a good day everyone

    Morning all

It'll be a while before i have a two year old to entertain but when I entertained my neices and nephews it usually involved the baking and decoration of shortbread, bicuits and cakes as well as painting a picture or five and then lots of TV / Films. I'd then hand back an over-stimulated, sugar overloaded, fractious child to the parents at the end of the day!

SRM - Good luck with the christmas shopping. Wayne knows that I'll happily buy presents for his family ONLY if he's with me at the time and after four years ago when he had to buy them all on Christmas Eve because he thought I was bluffing he's always willing to come shopping with me, especially as I go in October before the shops become manic.

Martin Amis is right idiot and one of the presents I got my Sis doesn't look as good as I thought it would.

but must get to work so will see you all later

Good luck with the boy Len, I bet he has a fab time with his Dad xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • morning - have a lovely time with your lad Len, I think the park and the ducks is the best choice, I love seeing the kids feeding the ducks in the park when I'm down there with Charlie.

I'm getting geared up for a confrontation _pale_ - it's OH Christmas meal in Bournemouth tonight and last year he got VERY sh~tty with me when I wouldn't go back and get him at 2.30 on an icy night. I'm already getting worked up about the drive there because of how much I hate driving, he hasn't said he wants a lift, but I know he will! I am not going to go and get him at 2 or 3 tomorrow morning though - I have work at 8.30 in the morning and I don't see why I should get up in the night and drive across Poole and Bournemouth.

Anyway, off to get this TV in a minute. Weirdly, OH doesn't want me to go with him to get it  I said I would need to go as I'm the buyer and he said 'but you'll have to sit in the back of the car on the way back as the TV will be on the front seat - why do you need to come?'
