    Morning All..............
Well after my !!!!!! weekend I am still feeling ill I think I have that flu it could even be man flu!!! lol Well my lovely sister had DS3 sat day and night and then most of sunday and as he is the most demanding of the 3 it was bliss.... I ordered a new tree which should come tuesday! and I am doing my xmas food shop then too which seems a better plan as the piglets in my house would have eaten the lot by now!! hehe I have almost finished the prezzie shopping just a few more to get and then I have to wrap it all... The Joy!! lol
In good news my Dad came round yesterday and put my LCD on the wall it looks so good although now DS3 doesn't like it as he can't touch it so thats a bonus!!! And the Ahole put up a shelf to put the sky box on... although he didn't pick up on any of my hints about wanting a dvd recorder... guess I will be buying that for myself...........
Right must make another cuppa before it's lunch time

    Afternoon everyone :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

  • afternoon!

Well, I asked OH and he says he has booked himself a room at the hotel tonight! He felt that £25 for the room was less hassle than getting home. Glad I asked I guess! Ah well, that means I can veg out with my box of Hotel Chocolat choccies all night!

There is no way he would have had any kind of surprise lined up - he doesn't do surprises at all, in any way, for anything, full stop. As we got back with it, he said he hoped he didn't drop it. I said if he did, he'd be straight off to Comet flashing his CC - 1 I could forgive but 2?! He said 'no I bloody wouldn't be'

I can't believe I didn't know your man would be in the park Snags!!!! I might have walked straight past him!! I'm just trying to run through anyone who I walked past.....can't think that I saw a tall man with a woman, but I wasn't taking much notice - I seemed to spend most of my time dodging 3 year olds on scooters! :rotfl:

(and Lenny - no - I'm not getting broody! )

I'm not exactly sure how many of them were going to the park BB - definitely boyf & son, possibly his sister, maybe her hubby too, and I would think their son as well. How funny would it have been if you'd bumped into each other (I told him you would be there with Charlie at some point today too, so he would have said hi if he'd seen you).

It would be easier for him to spot you though - I just said look out for a woman with a cute dog and gorgeous looooong curly rock chick hair. He's just 'quite tall with brown hair'....which probably describes half the men in the park lol!

It's very definitely a sign that your self esteem is low hunny. :grouphug:

When I'm really lacking in confidence I do the same.....I also do that 'pushing him away to see if he comes back' thing, which isn't very nice at all.

And the neediness makes people back away, which makes you needier still and even more in need of reassurance, so you push a bit harder, so they back away a bit more, and it becomes a vicious circle.

If you work out how to break it, you WILL let me know, wont you. :o

I am wearing a cream skirt and purple jumper at the moment, so if he saw a woman with mad hair and a leaf sniffing springer, that was me! :rotfl:
