I posted this on the weekend chat thread late yesterday, but I thought I would repeat it early today for those who wouldn't have seen it.

    Fantastic news to hear. :)

    Is this a First??

I think I'm probably correct in saying that come August 2009 we will have our first wedding as a result of this forum. :D

Dave's popped the question :j and of course I had to say yes ;)

We're hoping to get everything sorted and booked for bank holiday weekend, so that gives us 8 months to plan a wedding from start to finish . It will of course be uin true MSE style with Dave doing as much bartering and haggling as possible and with me bargin hunting the rest :rotfl:. There's no engagement ring as yet because we're hoping to get a bargain in the sales :p

As many of you will know I met Toon_Dave via The Bankruptcy Inn and by making preparations for the 'meet' earlier this year. For those that don't know us, we have both declared ourselves BR, mine in March 2007 and Dave's in June 2008.

Declaring yourself BR is one of the hardest things anybody will ever have to encounter, it hit us both hard emotionally and our mental health did suffer. At times neither of us thought we would make it but here we are a few months down the line and our lives have completely turned around. So for anybody contemplating BR, believe me it isn't the end of the world. If I hadn't have declared myself BR I would never have met the man of my dreams :happyhear

    Morning.

My first mission for the day will be to try and make the 2 idle arrises that are my darling husband and child shift themselves out of bed
That could take some time

BB, maybe OH wants to go so he can pay for the TV for you.
Or......he has bought you a flatscreen thingy to go over the fireplace and wants to surprise you with it.

Deliver him to the pi$$ up by all means, but I wouldn't offer to collect....in the daytime I would, but not late at night.

morning - have a lovely time with your lad Len, I think the park and the ducks is the best choice, I love seeing the kids feeding the ducks in the park when I'm down there with Charlie.
You getting broody BB? Well he has been a bit off colour these past few days and yesterday particularly, he has been itching his head and last night he seemed to have spots on his torso, front and back and neck. They havent gone down overnight so am taking him to the docs at 1020; hopefully just german measles or something. Hey is that dangeroud around pregnant ladies? I shall ask the doctor.
Hey BB your hubby probably doesnt mean anything by it im sure.

Has he had chicken pox len? what do the spots look like - are they big or small, raised or flat? German measles and measles are not that common these days due to vaccination - has he got a temp?
Sorry getting all nursey on you! Don't want you to waste your day at the doc!
