WOW Dusty that sounds like a great plan of action - good for you being organised and looking ahead.
I need to get organised too but first of my main priorities is to sort out my utilities and my budgeting/finances/debts. I will be doing the normal flying until I get these jobs under control.
I am ebaying today and then ironing until its finished.

I will do regular flying of other rooms on top but feel it is time again for a mass declutter and if I attempt to do it all in one go I get disheartened too quickly. I shall start next week
I think that sounds like a very good plan, Dusty, and will probably join you!
I forgot, I also had for Christmas some packets of seeds, herbs and salad stuff, so am looking forward to having the weather to spend some time in the garden!DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Lil_me some of my rooms may well take longer hence why I'm starting with bathroom and the week I've got a lot of invigilating I'm doing the hall. Downstairs will be harder than upstairs. We also need a to do the garage, loft smf sideshed in the spring - very big tasks but I need the weather warmer to do those as all are too cold right now.
Sorry your card wasn't with mine and I can't log in as I've forgotten the password again so I've had to reregister and wait for it in the post. I will go to the branch tomorrow as it was to check on my ISA transfer which had not gone through yet.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Toots you've got your priorities right there - I switched utilities in Novemember and ISA in December. My financial goal (yes I'm having one of those per month this year) for January is to check kids savings rates on their accounts/get interest made up for them. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Just put some sausagemeat and stuffing in the oven as DH loves that - sausagemeat 20p from Asda this morning. Chicken cooked, veggies in steamer, pigs in blankets cooked.
What can I do with breast of lamb? I bought a couple from Asda this morning as DH likes it but I won't eat it as too fatty - any ideas?NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

juliejim I'd probably strip the meat off and do a moroccan lamb casserole with cous cous (because I love it and haven't had it for ages) http://www.cookitsimply.com/category-0020-065k.html some ideas on there too.One day I might be more organised...........

Veggies aren't cooked yet - they've had half an hour but I've had to put them back on!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

juliejim I haven't used an electric steamer for years so wouldn't know how long they should take, I fancy chicken now and I put it in the freezer so I can't have it, your fault :rotfl: I'd wrap the meats in foil until the veg is done, I did that CMas day for the first time and worked very well!
3 bags of bag 3 of the lego police station are across the floor being carefully assembled, dog keeping out of the way as if he so much as steps near it he gets screamed at! I think there is a bit missing, it's on the floor but is on this part of the instructions (several books of instructions!!) but they are concentrating so much I risk having head bitten off if I mention it.....
Think I will go tidy the kitchen and start some bread rolls off so I can keep out of it, see if I can decide what to do for dinner and for the rest of the week. One day I might be more organised...........

Froddy hows your ironing mountain - are you going to have yours finished by new year??? I have sorted mine into personal and household stuff - will probably try to do the household stuff first as I hate that and get it out of the way - i can usually whizz over my own stuff pretty quickly as it never needs much.
