ate slightly too many last night and have been a bit ill this morning! So all unopened choc/biscuits/sweets have been delivered to the neighbours. Money from in laws spent on new undies. Organised home office too so all I have to do is replace 2 radiators and get a man in
for my guttering. Made soup from leftover turkey and reduced organic veg from supermarket trip.
Can't wait for 2009 to keep up my flying and do the live on £4000 challenge- really enjoying my life now and feeling so much compared with earlier in the year. You guys are really great - thanks for making me feel so welcome! :T

Johanne, you have every right to have a proud mummy moment - she looks lovely!
One final cuppa before I head off out to the dump and forage for food. It's amazing how much you can find to throw away when you know you're going to the dump!
One good thing, I'd misplaced the dough hook from my new Kenwood Chef. Hunted high and low for it (even sifted through the rubbish in dustbin on boxing day (yeuch!) just in case it had accidently got thrown away with wrapping paper etc.). I'd put the packaging from it out of sight in the cupboard understairs and, as I loaded it all in the car, there was the dough hook - still in the polystyrene stuffI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning lovelies....
i think i might achieve the list today as we had toast for breakfast...
Me and Sarah had a lovely Christmas... shes knew straight away what to do with the wrapping paper! LOL Has been spoilt rotten so i will have to try find some room for her big pile of toys and clothes she got...
Nothing has been touched last few days as we been visiting family christmas + boxing day and then yesterday OH and I went up to where FILs ashes were spread as it was his birthday boxing day. Then we walked along to the local pub and had a drink and some food and then came home. Was much needed i think as we have focused so much on it being sarahs first xmas we needed some time to actually acknowledge it was first year without FIL too. We both miss him terribly.... and this year was always going to be a mix of emotions. But we have both agreed we have had a fab few days with sarah and if FIL had been here he would have enjoyed himself too.
Glad you had a great time and were able to take some time out to think of your FIL - I'm sure he would have loved it...
Pumpkin looks beautiful too - even with the big black blob in front of her :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'm going up to see my Dad today - the only thing I don't like about being away for Christmas is not going up to the cemetary on Christmas Day to wish him a happy christmas - did it while I was away to myself though and I know he's always with me, so know he got the message anyway...:A
Well, so much for my lie in - up early, tided the lounge, dishwasher done and emptied, kitchen cleaned, washing on, just upstairs to do now - how can it get in such a mess in just one day???? Really must get dressed now though, have been pottering around in my dressing gown all morning - off for a bath and then get dressed I think, then pop into town - have to get some shopping (and chocolate :rotfl: ) and take back my mum's new computer screen we got her as a joint gift as there was no base with it!!! (really annoying yesterday that was...) So far today, I have:
- stripped the bed and put on new bedding
- dusted my bedroom
- sorted my wardrobe
- put away clean washing
My bedroom is lovely and tidy :T and so is the kitchen :T
Now could someone please find the real me......... I'm scaring myself :rotfl:
I sorted my games yesterday, so the plan for today is:
- sort DVDs
- sort CDs
- HHI
and maybe put a few things on ebay as it's 5p listing today.
And I have someone coming from Freecycle any minute to collect something!"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers
