Morning everyone, nose is running off me this morning (I hate the cold). Kiddies finally of the ds/psp and colouring in, hasn't been a word out of them since christmas morning.:rotfl:

Plan today is more washing, general tidy up.
Right cuppa first to wakin me up.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning everyone!

Welcome home Flower and Toots. Glad you had nice holidays.

I had quite a successful, if tiring trip to Southampton yesterday Lady Liberty but I do agree it was very busy. We managed to buy a nice new double duvet from JL (£58.50) using £30 vouchers my sister gave me and some of the £40 cash my Nan gave me for Christmas. It was a bit of a hassle collecting it though, as the shop sent the order to the service station, which we couldn't find, and after 30 minutes queuing at the customer collection area, we were told that we were in the wrong place. OH got annoyed and told them that the directions we had been given as to how to get there were very vague, and could they send it over to there as we'd already waited 30 minutes there. They said that they had plenty in their collection area and gave us one of those, but to apologise further, they gave us a voucher for 2 people for tea/coffee and a pastry in their cafe. So ... we found somewhere free to park and went back for a coffee and cake for free! Yummy!

I also went to Poundland down there as we don't have one where we are, and picked up loads of bargains there, including 4 tubes of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda toothpaste (usually £1.95 in Mr T) and a tube of Pearl Drops Toothpaste to try (usually more like £6 in the shops). OH also bought a pack of 5 xxx strong mints, and a bar of Green & Black's Gingerbread chocolate.

Froddington I do plan to visit Gunwharf at some point over the holidays, but thought I'd see if you wanted to join me?

Well I'd best get a move on as I'm still not dressed after a lovely lie in and I'm planning on going to the gym today at some point as I feel guilty after eating all of the rich food I've had over Christmas.

    Catch up later,

    sexymouse xx

PS Forgot to say pigpen that any list is fine with me. I did quite like the all over the house lists of Christmas though, as there are always some rooms that don't get done as thoroughly as they need in my house.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Haven't got a clue! Just googled and it seems it's Aladdin :D The kids should really enjoy it as we are going on the tram (easier than parking in town) and last year they got hoarse shouting out and joining in. Was W's first time last year so when he realises what is happening today he'll be right in there!

Just nipped up here to make sure he is not stuffing his face with white matlesers that he took to his bedroom for safe keeping :rotfl:

I am going to cook lunch, probably sausage as I am not sure what we are doing for eating later. Panto is at 6pm, need to leave here about 4.40 so too early to eat a proper meal before.

    Morning lovelies....

i think i might achieve the list today as we had toast for breakfast...

Me and Sarah had a lovely Christmas... shes knew straight away what to do with the wrapping paper! LOL Has been spoilt rotten so i will have to try find some room for her big pile of toys and clothes she got...

Nothing has been touched last few days as we been visiting family christmas + boxing day and then yesterday OH and I went up to where FILs ashes were spread as it was his birthday boxing day. Then we walked along to the local pub and had a drink and some food and then came home. Was much needed i think as we have focused so much on it being sarahs first xmas we needed some time to actually acknowledge it was first year without FIL too. We both miss him terribly.... and this year was always going to be a mix of emotions. But we have both agreed we have had a fab few days with sarah and if FIL had been here he would have enjoyed himself too. :)
