Lady Liberty - good luck getting the baggy clothes. I'd personally recommend sweat pants / top as they're the only thing I can wear at the moment when i'm out due to the scar. I've also found I've needed three nightshirts to make it easier for DH to wash them and dry them (bless him) - not PJ's as they hurt. Also, you need big knickers :rotfl: , you know the m&s type that come right up under your bust (or it feels like it). Any others seem to land on the scar. What's your date? If you've any questions feel free to PM me. This is a brilliant website if you've not seen it already http://www.hysterectomy-association.org.uk/forums/index.php All the questions have already been asked and if you want to know anything someone will help - a lot of support on there. Oh, and lastly, I can honestly say that having it done was the best decision i've ever made. From day one i've not regretted it and although i'm tired i've never felt better. xx
Thanks for that Mudbath I am following your progress carefully, my date is 13 Feb, have had a quick look at the website, seems just what I need. You take care & don't overdo things xx“Cancer has my body but not my spirit, and I’ll continue to make jokes, not so much about cancer, but in spite of it” Irwin Barker0 -

Hi all,
Happy belated Birthday Pigpen.
I'm glad everyone had a good Christmas. We had a lovely one although there were 14 of us everyone mucked in so i didn't spend it chained to the cooker or sink. When i put Ds2 to bed Christmas night he said if i'm good Santa will leave presents under the tree in the morning:eek:, hmm i don't think so;).
Boxing day not so good i spent all of it throwing up:o. I'm not sure if it was this bug thats going around or i poisoned myself:o:o. This morning i cleaned the kitchen and bathroom and myself , this afternoon has beeen mainly spent watching tv and playing with Ds2. Ds1 has joined us for meals only, i've hardly seen him since he got his Xbox for Christmas, i'm dragging him up the woods tomorrow for a walk whether he likes it or not:p.0 -

Have finally beaten the dreaded lergy, after two and half weeks and feel like a semi-human being again...though looking at the tip that is my house, makes me want to crawl back into bed till next year!Sanity is the playground of the unimaginative!0 -

ok.. who else is sick of eating chocolate and can't think of anything better to eat?
I've been good, only had some matchmakers and chocolate orange, but now you have mentioned it I might have to eat more. Until today the eating it because couldn't be bothered to think of anything else was meat, beef/turkey/ham just because it was there, has been eaten every way possible but have now frozen what is left (there was stuffing but DP polished that off) so I can't do it any more. I was going to do chicken dinner tomorrow but don't think I could stomach itmaybe something completely junky instead of proper meat and 2 veg, steaks maybe, or something with the pork loins I bought...
Catching up on some tele I missed, then going to get myself to bed I think. Have done the DW, WM and TD filling/starting. Picked up some more bits from crackers DSs shared some more this evening, I can't just keep collecting them, it's being tight :rotfl:I am wondering if I will be seen as mean to take the tree/lights down on Monday, maybe sooner.....it's just getting right on my nerves.
One day I might be more organised...........
