Oddj which part of your body is that?

I've tidied up in the kitchen, washed up and cleaned the sink.

DS1 has been doing his History revision and I've had the job of marking the questions (the fact that I did not take GCSE history is a slight hinderance).

Just meal planning and photos left to do from today's short list so will do HH on the photos then think about food - shopping list started. Want to go to Lidl tomorrow as they have lots of files/stationery stuff on special.

Am going to ask my question here as you are all so supportive. Am thinking of getting a slow cooker
I've got one for xmas and I am looking for recipes. It's a 3.5l so needs 2.5l recipes apparently...
I would really appreciate recipes - I have looked at the slow cooker thread but it's mainly just what they are cooking not actual recipes.

I have pegged out 2 loads of washing then I spent almost all day (up to 3pm) in the garden. Firstly I tidied in the front garden again - needed to remove lots of leaves from the border - again. Then I removed the sheets I have had over my new veg patch (to kill the grass) to the next part that needs grass killing and turned the area over, in the hope that we get a hard frost and the sods will break up. Then I decided to empty the finished compost from one of the bins and spread it over the dug area so after we have had some frost I will dig it again and hopefully the compost will bring some much needed nourishment to the soil. I think I will still need raised beds but they will have a better base now and I am hopeful of growing something succesfully this year. I already have soft fruit (blackcurrants and strawberries) and some very productive rhubarb crowns.

Now I COULD get my washing in and join Froddy for the HHC!

    Go on then! I'm in!
