Pigpen sorry to hear the poorly eye is no better, blimey those pregnancies seem to have flown over, loads of little babies will be around soon!
LL I think a lot of what will be in the M&S sale will be on the online one
Valli/embb sorry but don't think I can start for 2009 this early! I don't have places to store stuff in. I sometimes get things for birthdays (which of course will come before Xmas)
Dusty good luck with the album sorting
Rach lol if you lived closer you could come and help! Only a small bit done so far today but it's usually an early evening thing
DS1s playing with some of his transformers, DS2s laid on the sofa with a drink, his tonsils aren't as bad but his cold is worse so he's feeling sorry for himself and moaning a lot.
Today so far I've nursed a gastly headache (all part of this cold I think) 3rd washload is in, 2 are in the drier, filled DW, sorted more left overs for freezer, sorted through more of the recycling/rubbish, unblocked the toilet. Speaking of next years presents, DS1s birthday is soon, he has now 4 presents, ones I'd bought for Xmas and didn't find when getting them out of hidingDPs annoyed me as he was out all day yesterday, has gone out all day today (then will be going straight to work) then will be out all day tomorrow aswell. I know he's going to ask about when can we go to visit his family today as his Dad called with his cousins number, but he's going to be told the kids want to stay here and him help with their new toys/play with them before we go anywhere! Christmas time shouldn't be about him going out to play with his friends and their new toys because he's nearly 29 not 9!
This afternoon I think first job on the list needs to be sorting through banking stuff, make sure everythings up to date and switch money between accounts where required. One day I might be more organised...........

L-L and sexymouse - southampton? I'm sure Portsmouth is better!!
Dusty - PHOTOS!!!!!!!!
flower - welcome back
This morning I went to B & Q and bought paint to do the bathroom and the hallway. 15% off so a good saving. Now all I need to do is actually use it "There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

back from our walk, which blew the cobwebs away! Only about an hour but just what I needed. Hoping it will start to shift some of the food which seems to be stuck in my digestive system! We were going to have a coffee on the way back but decided to come home for a free cuppa instead.
DH is washing up, I need to stick a load of washing in when we're undressed tonight but everything else is ok.
Am so happily settled now I wish we didn't have to go away...we go to my godson's family tomorrow lunchtime then on to my family the day after. Really looking forward to seeing my family but not the travelling!
I need some advice. My friend (mother of my godson) asked for lego for them. As some of you know i messed it all up and left it too late to get some. I got almost the last kits left in London the downside being that one is star wars (with guns) and the other indiana jones (with swords). I have now found a lego city kit (big truck) which is more expensive but I could get it them to share and take the other stuff back...I'd have to go in the next hour as its at a little local shop. But DH reckons something to share is not a great idea...Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Afternoon.
Not done anything but potter so far.
DH and the younger two have gone to FiL. DS1 in bed on a gameboy he has gucky ulcers on the back of his throat and isn't eating much so he's not right, he's in fine enough humour though. I know he didn't want to go today anyhow so best he stays in bed - he is doing a little revising.
I like going to the sales and I need to get some clothes for the kids but I'm not going feeling like this. I'll see how I feel tomorrow, might walk down if DS is feeling a bit better.
I'm impressed you lot know what to buy people a year in advance - I struggle with it in December. I've got all the kids birthday coming up in the next 3 months to think of yet.
I don't want to start the photos so I am going to say to myself just get them (about 100 packets) out and do 30 minutes and take it from there. Thanks for pushing me - I'm starting at 3 and I'll report back.
Flylady - I'm glad you got back safely and enjoy today - I hate to tell you but my bug started off with constant sneezing and runny nose but I felt fine at that stage. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
How old are the kids Rach? Do you know if they like starwars / Indiana? Mine preferred the regular lego but then they were never much into any characters. Mine have had presents to share before and it was fine. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Rach - I'd like the Star Wars lego but then I do have a very slight obsession with it (Star Wars, that is!)
If you really think their mum won't like the guns, etc. then get the other one - I'm sure it won't hurt them to learn to share.
ETA - I must be bored cos I have just cleaned round the kitchen and there isn't even a list telling me to do it!!"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Rach - go for the little sets then - just reread your post and if it makes one large vehicle then I think there would be more arguments. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Rach, I'd stick with what you have bought to be honest, anyone who thinks little boys are oblivious to guns and swords needs to give their head a shake IMO, it's part of what little boys do. Sharing a gift at that age I am doubtful would work well.
I've just popped a couple of orders in with memorybits, one without using quidco (as they have 15% off but can't enter codes if go via cashback site) and one for ink cartridges which should track aswell as the discount they have off them. Ordered a few things I need from dealextreme too. Still managing to avoid sales browsing on sites I don't think I need anything from.
Right, banking, that's what I was supposed to be doing! One day I might be more organised...........
