Rach I have sharp learned this year that Lego is expensive, luckily for me DPs Dad bought 2 of the ones DSs wanted, AT-TE was £70 I think, Creator set which moves etc for DS2 which was about £80 aswell. They've also said Toysrus gave them a voucher off Lego when they spent so much on it so they're getting them more for their birthdays (if they have any in stock)
Pigpen, probably back to normal ish for me, with some serious decluttering in so I can find somewhere to put all these presents! One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Pigpen any list will do here, bedroom is the pits here too and i've managed to misplace some Christmas money, it's in that room somewhere.:rotfl:
Kids all eating, hubby sleeping (having a feeling i'm back to square one on that front, it's been 3 days of the same and the tablets have been upped) and i've just reloaded the WM.
Have managed to get over my panick about the house and figured it will get done when it gets done, i will look at b&q sometime before tuesday and pick it out (at least that will be a big thing out of the way)we have a joiner friend who said he'd happily put it in for us, so at least we won't have to pay what b&q wanted for fitting.
Right must sort out the clean clothes and put them away, then find DD's GFS uniform as there going to a home tomorrow to sing.
Back later to update.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Been shopping - nothing useful in boots sale. Looked around for cards - not very impressed until I hit the coop so that's done - half price and they were not expensive to start with. Got two more stocking fillers for my two...bath bombs from superdrug so am wrapping them too.
That'll teach DS to go hunting...

I'd second the comments on expensive lego. DS only got some because it was buy two and get a third free at Woolies back in November and my dad paid for the expensive one. I've now got two large lego sets in the wardrobe for his birthday and next christmas and one of them was free. I love a bargain.
Talking of bargains. Amazon has some good offers on Wii games. I've just got over £100 worth for £53. One for DSs birthday in January, one that he's chosen to spend his birthday money on and one for Christmas 2009! I was impressed with DS as he asked me to look online for games for him to buy because he thought they'd have better offers than in the shops....that's my boy! He's only 7!!
Pigpen - I don't mind about the lists either as I'm still not doing much. I'm planning on starting light duties once the children go back to school and the scar is completly healed. Until then i'll just surf and carry on annoying you all xx0 -
Pigpen, I'd prefer regular lists as I need this place to be in a good order for when I return back to work on the 5thWe don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0

Pigpen - I really don't mind about the lists - whatever you fancy! My bedroom probably needs the least attention though.
I've started a new cross stitch todayRach - it's a Little Miss Naughty one! hat'll keep me busy for a bit.
Am going to see my aunty and cousin tonight so I'll have my new Wii game to try out tomorrow! Love seeing them but not so keen on spending hours in a smoke filled room - will definitely need to wash hair and clothes tomorrow!"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Pigpen normal list for me please, but I'm not bothered what you do I'll just add/take away what I don't/do need to do anyway.

Hi there all,
Hope you all have/having a nice Christmas/Boxing Day/festive period!
We have had a nice relaxed time, eating well, playing games etc.
DS loved it, was so excited at Christmas parcel time and slept sooooo well on Christmas night. Not many chores for me these few days, other than the usual 'housekeeping' stuff like laundry etc.
Take care all and see you in the new weeks challenges.
