  • Hello flypersons!

Our local Woolies branches close on Friday but have lots of clothes and school uniforms left. So if anyone is looking for anything let me know and I'll happily go have a look! (Lots of school skirts, trousers, pinafores, summer dresses and poloshirts up to big sizes!)

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

HSgetwell.png to all not feeling very well with sore throats, coughs, aches and pains - it is not allowed at this time of the year!!!!!

pigpen - any kind of list with probably more de-cluttering would suit me - WHATEVER YOU DECIDE WILL BE BRILLIANT - YOUR LISTS ARE WHAT KEEPS US ALL GOING - THANK YO SO MUCH!!!

I have just discovered ebay is having 5p listing today and tomorrow so must try and get some bits listed. And I have not done much online sale shopping before but intend to have a look at the lakeland site - curse whoever it was that mentioned it !!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I arrived at my bruv's in the afternoon of chrsitmas eve, we went to local carol service which was brilliant - everybody got givem a chrisdingle - the once we got the kids to bed we laid out their presies - Christmas morning was fantastic seeing them come into the LR and get their presies (they are 11, 8 and 6) then bacon butties, more present opening for us all, lunch of hot nibbles then played with all our presents and turkey dinner with all the trimmings - watched a film and then bed - I actually got to put the 2 girls to bed which I havent done before - so that was nice. Yesterday was much the same except only the children had some presents still to open - buffet lunch of leftovers - horses moved - letter writing with the kids - cuddles with my youngest neice - another film and Dr Who - more food!!!!!!
I stayed an extra night as the youngest wanted me too which was lovely and really annoyed my mother! came home at lunchtime as they were all going off to the pantomime in Edinburgh. So all in all it was fab (except mother who went out of her way to be awkward with both me and my bruv but we just coped as best we could). It feels quiet after all the noise - which I am not used to!

    toots xx

  • mudbath meant to say - I was glad to see your trip out was a success - I am glad you managed to go to the garden centre and enjoyed it all. PMSL at poppy chewing your patch - wonder if it will help her 'develop' quicker!!
Dont be overdoing it until that wound has healed - I need your guidance if you are stuck for a job - could you keep me right with a step by step guide how to give myself a pampering before Hogmanay - I need idiot guide instructions i.e. where to start, what to use, how long for etc etc!!!! No, I am not joking - actually feel very embarrassed having to ask but since you are good at these things and pamper people for a living I thought you might be able to help - and it will keep you occupied for ..........!!!!! You can pm me if you like and tell me 'where to go' if you dont want to swear on fred!
    TIA

Have spend most of the afternoon asleep while DD played and watched TV :o. Then made mince pies for OH to take to work. Thats the sum total of what I have done today! We havent even had food as such just snacking on whats around so I guess I should go and find something for DD in a min if I can drag her away from the TV and Wii.

Have done a quick catch up

    Flyladyflower - welcome back

Gryfon - hope you feel better soon

Oddjob - what kind of training do you use for your little ones, I could do with using your teaching methods !

Craftyscholar - I think your oomph is lost with mine

Vanilla - hope you get the work done in time

lilme - Hope you managed to get DP under control !

Dusty - hope your DS is improving, sounds like lots of healing icecream or cold desserts might help

Pigpen - you are our leader, you decide (but like you my bedroom needs a sort :o ). Please can you also remind me to go and have a blood test done before I back to work on 5th. I should have had done the 2nd week of December!

toots - glad you had a good time

to everyone else hope you and your families are enjoying themselves.
