Morning all
One load of washing out on the line - some of it has frozen!
Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs. Emptied bins. DD2 is picking up more stuff and her bed and chest of drawers should be going tomorrow. Then I'll be able to give the bedroom a really good vacuuming.
DD1 is going on holiday today so DH will be going to stay over her house for two weeks to look after the dog. It's only a mile or two away so he will be coming back for a cooked meal once a day (and to leave me his dirty washing....)
Going to Asda with DD2 when she's finished packing stuff so she can fill her fridge and freezer. Not really looking forward to that (there's a reason why I have my shopping delivered).
Hope everyone's OK.0 -
Morning all
Had another lovely day yesterday though i wished I'd taken a book as it dragged a bit in places between games etc! Was nice though. As we've been out mostly there's not a lot to do in the flat, just put the prezzies away (some done) and a little washing up from yesterday's breakfast (DH did Christmas day breakfast's there an then). He's still asleep but I got up about 9.45 and have been catching up whilst enjoying a quiet cuppa.
Today we plan to have a chilled day, just the two of us, except for seeing DH's bro & SiL at some point tonight for an hour. Think we'll go for a walk though probably just a local one as we probably can't be bothered to drive or public transport anywhere. don't want to go anywhere near the sales!! Wish I still had the beach down the road as I could really do with a walk along the prom!!
dusty - it's weird how sometimes things just go wrong even when you know you can do them!
pigpen - hope the eye clears up quickly and that you've enjoyed some of those goodies!
lil_me - I told DH about the lego police station and he says he fancies one next year! I bet me and him would get right into doing that!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Morning all!
Kids have gone to their dad's for the day (they weren't ready when he arrived) and I don't know if DD is going to stay over...she hasn't taken her bag.
House is an utter tip, things have been dumped everywhere so I think a quick 10 mins in each room should restore some semblance of order. I have stripped my bed and am about to strip theirs so when beds are made it will look much tidier.
DVD from HMV has arrived - I think I will be super organised and wrap it up ready for DD's birthday in January then if it is 'discovered' she wont know what it is!
Hope you're feeling better Pigpen - nasty that conjunctivitis!

Woo hoo!
Operation Christmas 2009 under way! My Mum has been to the sales (I have a new top:D) and she has brought me a 'stocking filler' gift for DS. In view of the fact that I caught him 'looking' for gifts I have wrapped and labelled it and put a 1 on the label...and on my 'gift' spreadsheet I have recorded what it is!. I have also wrapped the DVD for DD's birthday too.
Doesn't look like anyone's around for a HHC but if anyone would care to join me let me know!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
