Welcome back Flower...am much better now ta and managed to tidy away xmas dinner no probs. Appetite still dodgy though and haven't eaten today apart from a few chocs!
DS bed made...then I vacuumed his floor...then I decided to damp dust his surfaces - they were very dusty!
Have put washing out on the line and have put his bike in the shed as it will be dark when he gets back and he won't do it.
House looking much tidier but I keep getting a subliminal message...co-o-o-m-e to boooooooots...
Looks like I might be off out for a bit, then:rotfl:

Glad you're feeling better - and chocs are always good when you're not feeling like eating - keep the energy levels up (my excuse and I'm sticking to it!) :rotfl:

    Enjoy Boots.... ;)

We're having dinner round my Mum's today - sis is coming over with the nippers and we're having cold meat and mash with pickles and stuff - a proper boxing day dinner, all be it 1 day late ;) ... so at least I don't have to cook.. then opening pressies, the good bit about going away...;)

Have the sniffles today - can't stop sneezing and nose keeps running but feel perfectly OK???

Dogs were funny this morning when we picked them up, jumping all over us although Toby (the big one) was a bit weird at first - wouldn't come over at all, then finally believed it was us and went mental (think he was trying to teach us a lesson, don't leave me again...) didn't last long tho! they are following me everywhere now, don't really know whats going on I think, but they seem happy so will just keep an eye on them...

Oh how lovely of her, and how great for you too - can you send her round here when she's done, I've a few things that she can sort out if she's bored! ;) :j

I have read back a few pages and I think it was toochoosy who mentioned shopping online with a debit card? (closed all the tabs I had opened by mistake! ).

I was advised NEVER to shop online with a debit card only ever a credit card because you are covered for fraud on those (if someone spends money on your card they can't charge it to you) but if you use your debit card and someone draws out all your cash, you can't get that back (well, that was how it was explained to me, there is probably a more techincal explaination, but as you can see, simple works best with me).

    Hope that helps!

Well my eye is revolting today.. I look like a zombie lol.. my mother has a nasty stomach bug.. no doubt I'll get the blame for that one!

Today we are tidying.. oh and I have a grand start on next christmas.. a DVD and a DS game for the small things.. and some bits I had 'mislaid' including the ones for my niece as she hasn't made it to the world yet.. 3 weeks left! My new cousin is being delivered on the 30th and DS GF's baby is due in 4 weeks...

  • Afternoon all.
Hugs for those who were poorly over Christmas - definitely not fair!

Decided not to go into town. I do not need anything and would probably have ended up buying things just because they were on 'special offer'

However, has anyone seen my oomph? I really need to wind up the elastic and get some jobs done around the house.

Floor done and rubbish out. Can't get anymore clothes into DD's cupboard, or anymore into the boys wardrobe.

Starting to feel the stress of the house being done, builder should be back in the next fortnight and then all paperwork sent in (which should take 6 weeks at the most) so in all if everything goes to plan we should start building in 8 weeks, i still have to get a kitchen (thats the biggest thing). The builder has said he hopes to have all work done in 8 weeks so that will take me right up till the end of April and baby due the 10th may.

    Think i need a plan.:rotfl:

Right i'm gonna make a start on the paperwork thats piled up against the livingroom wall.
    Back later to update.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
