    Hiya everyone
I've had a lovely lie in today and feel really human again! DH went out to lakeland this morning (it's less than a ten minute walk from here) and got me the christmas placemats I wanted but wouldn't pay full price for before christmas. They're a bit tacky but I just love them:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: .

Lady Liberty - good luck getting the baggy clothes. I'd personally recommend sweat pants / top as they're the only thing I can wear at the moment when i'm out due to the scar. I've also found I've needed three nightshirts to make it easier for DH to wash them and dry them (bless him) - not PJ's as they hurt. Also, you need big knickers :rotfl: , you know the m&s type that come right up under your bust (or it feels like it). Any others seem to land on the scar. What's your date? If you've any questions feel free to PM me. This is a brilliant website if you've not seen it already http://www.hysterectomy-association.org.uk/forums/index.php All the questions have already been asked and if you want to know anything someone will help - a lot of support on there. Oh, and lastly, I can honestly say that having it done was the best decision i've ever made. From day one i've not regretted it and although i'm tired i've never felt better. xx

    Morning lovelies!

Nicki Thanks for the card, it arrived this morning x
Happy Belated Birthday Pigpen hope you had a cracking day xx

Operation Xmas 2009 is full steam ahead in this household too lol started it yesterday and just come in from down town with a fab stash of gifts from Boots and NEXT (saved £55 :T ) infact MIL is all done for next year :D woot! Got all my cards and lots of wrap paper all half price in WHSmith and Birthdays DD1 is getting me some I want specifically when she goes to the Metro Centre this avo so that'll be all organised too, just need to lug it all upstairs now and sort it all out, got something for littleys Birthday in January too. M&S was a waste of time, hardly anything there at all  pfft.

On the flying front the house still looks pretty good - surprisingly  Need to set the DW away and turn the TD on, quick whip round with the hoover and a damp cloth just to keep it at bay.

Hope you're better soon Dusty & Gryfon xx

Hope everyone had a good Christmas.

We had a few items we needed in the sales - tv for the caravan, hairdryer [as mine died just before xmas] and a cd clock radio for the bedroom[cd has died on ours]. So far we have sourced the tv and the hairdryer on the internet - no wonder the high street shops are dying - they can not compete with the shops on the internet. Looks like its only the cd clock radio that we'll purchase in a shop.
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

    [STRIKE]Morning[/STRIKE] - oops afternoon

Cant believe you lot are all so organised again with getting on top of the house and with planning for next Christmas  .

Hope the conjuctivitis improves soon Pigpen and that you have managed a lie in this morning.

    Not much doing around here.

OH woke me up with a cuppa about 830 after he came in from work. Snuffled around doing nothing since then other than a long soak in the bath. Still in my dressing gown and slippers tho as OH went to bed and I darent go upstairs to get dressed as he says I'm like a rhinasaurus (I know its not spelt like that really but thats what he calls me :D ) DD has so far refused to get washed and dressed as she has been wii-ing and cant tear herself away from it, and DS is up showered and away to his dads tidying his room and collecting his laundry before he went  .

Desperately need to get sorted to take poor doogie out for a walk then give her a bath and a haircut as she's such a scruffy mutt at the moment.

Right I'm off to see what Game have on sale at the moment then maybe coffee and some munchies.

  • Morning all, back in the land of the cold and frosty again!!! :(

Just wanted to pop in and say hi, hope you have all got over your aches and pains and illnesses (Valli, seem to remember you were quite ill while I was away), and hope that you all had a fantastic Christmas and are looking forward to a great New Year!

Thank you for all the lovely cards you sent - they were sitting on my table ready to open when I got home (much better than the pile of bills that were sitting with them!;) )

Was going to try to catch up, but as I left you at about page 15, I think I will have to leave it and just wish everyone well who isn't, hugs to those that need them and all the best to everyone else!

:hello: Hope everyone is well, I've only just clambered out of bed. Feel like death warmed up, never actually been dead and warmed up but I guess they'd feel like I do now! Neck is slightly less stiff but everything is still sore. Still feeling a bit miffed that I haven't been able to enjoy things because of being ill :( Feel a bit cheated :rotfl:

Wondering now if I can kick the children off the x-box so I can play ;)

Oh and Mr G was wonderful yesterday and cleared the dining room bit of the kitchen for when my parents came around, and he cooked! Just wish I was feeling alright so I could carry on from where he's left off.

Welcome back Flower...am much better now ta and managed to tidy away xmas dinner no probs. Appetite still dodgy though and haven't eaten today apart from a few chocs!
DS bed made...then I vacuumed his floor...then I decided to damp dust his surfaces - they were very dusty!
Have put washing out on the line and have put his bike in the shed as it will be dark when he gets back and he won't do it.
House looking much tidier but I keep getting a subliminal message...co-o-o-m-e to boooooooots...
Looks like I might be off out for a bit, then:rotfl:

Gryfon hope your feeling better soon.

WM and TD on none stop and washing sorted so that all the TD stuff can be done first, as no rome left in the house to dry so it will have to wait.

Hubby watching the football and kiddies playing. Dishes done and think i'll get the rubbish in the kitchen out before i get the floor done.

Right cuppa first, anyone what one??
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
