Thats disgraceful. It's actually a sin!
Why couldn't they give it a local homeless shelter or a local charity? Throwing food out like that with so many people going hungry is appalling, ~I'm not even just talking about Africa here plenty of people in the UK and Ireland are going hungry each and every day.

Tesco helping the community? I think not!!!

    /sorry rant over

Unfortunately it's not just food or supermarkets, I have known clothes shops actually pay staff to sit cutting up clothes they haven't sold before they chuck them out, in case some one gets hold of them.
Wouldn't it be better to give them to a charity.
If they are worried people might try to take them back to the shop & get money back they only need cut out their labels, they don't need to ruin the clothes completely.
  • I thought it was terrible & really wanted to say something about the waste, but they'd think I was moaning about not getting a bargin.

I am far from a vegetarian, but I thought it was disgusting that these animals were killed for their meat to only be thrown away! There are many issues around the morals of eating meat, but that animals life was worthless to be bread and killed all to end up in a skip! GRRR!
I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!
