Got back from Devon late yesterday, totally worn out:rolleyes:

Went to Church this morning, then back home to catch up on my backlog. If nobody minds, could we postpone Christmas for a week?:o

Anyway, only really posting to wish purpleivy a very Happy Birthday! :beer: Sounds like it has started well:D

Hopefully I'll get time to catch up later, hope you have good days. CM x

Feeling that although evening meal will be MS, (stuff from MIL plus YS veg from fridge) lunch won't be. DH just called to say he's finished doing his mum's jobs and will be home when he's had a coffee. I can't decide where I want to go for my lunch, Lots of choice in the village. Might go for the tapas place if they're a) open and b) have a table.

Well I have my tree and now just waiting for my sister to come over this evening to help me put it up and decorate. Our computer room is full of all the lovely looking pressies that we picked up from our parents and friends yesterday. They would look great under the tree, for about five mins before the cat attacked them, lol. We keep her out of the computer room unless we're in there with her as there are so many cables and things that she could chew so they'll be safe in there until Christmas morning. Last year she loved jumping about in the paper and playing with the ribbons etc so looking forward to that again this year.

Someone (sorry, memory like a sieve) said they have a lack of LOs. I know what you mean! Although I saw my friends five year old little boy yesterday and he is adorable. I have the number for Santa and let him know if he's been a good boy or not

Right, should get on with something...might just be to go and rummage for something to eat for now. Pressies are all taken care of and delivered where needed. OH hasn't got me anything yet though! He would cancel Christmas if it was down to him, lol.

I've been sneaky - DH is finishing off painting and I have a mop and a bucket of bleach and am dashing from computer to mopping kitchen floor when I hear him coming downstairs

just had beef stew and roast spuds with yorkshires carrots and peas, it was delicious, just want to sit and do nothing, but I have to clean the oven and wash the kitchen floor

preparations for xmas going well, just need to pop to shops tomorrow to get some fresh veg. cant go any other time as I am working till tea time xmas eve.

the cat keeps batting my baubles :rotfl: she has taken a particular fancy to a little angel and is determined to get it off the tree



mioliere is LO out of hospital? sorry if you have already told us but I have been MIA for a couple of days

Just been out for a lovely long walk with little dog, right at the top of a local lovely hill, it was bracing , but very nice, got in and OH said he will cook dinner, so I am to sit and relax :A , what a nice man.
