  • yep - it's just a standard 28 inch silver TV, it's this one,

so not posh in anyway - just a really bog standard TV someone is getting rid of as they have upgraded - it's almost identical to the broken one and the auction says its in good condition.

    I've got to pay a whole £2.31 for it..............:T :T :T

  • certainly is - I'd put £25 as my snipe bid ! It was a 99p start and I could see someone else had bid, but obviously only something like £2 or so!

Even if it lasts a year or so, that's cool by me.

  • BB that is a great bargain :T if this had all happened a month ago I'd have donated my old TV, it was fine but just never used as when OH moved in he had a bigger one (oo-er!) - I ended up Freecycling the damn thing

Still £2.31 is very close to 'free'! :T

  • the guy my OH is doing some work for gave away a silver widescreen CRT tv only last week to one of the guys at work- it had integrated freeview and a DVD player as well, but he didn't know about the 'accident' with mine.

Bit of a pain as this is a guy who drives a 90k Merc, so it wouldn't have been a Macro special............but hey, £2.31 is fab for the amount of TV I watch and at the end of the day - it is still just a TV whether it is flat, wide, plasma or LCD. I almost bought one last night that was a widescreen at £34, but I'm glad I waited now.
