Bunny - you're never going to fix this hon because you're looking at yourself to try to work out what the problem is.....you're looking in the wrong place gorgeous lady.
Edit - sorry, that's very blunt
I agree completely:cool:
Shall i be blunter?

Is it sad that i didnt get to bed till 2.30am cos i was waiting till he came in from his works night out?

Skinty, I've noticed the price hikes also.
I think that tinned toms and beans were the items that were targetted during the price wars and the prices especially for the value/smart price tins really fell.
Now the sneaky monkeys are upping the prices and as you say, a cheapo meal is no meal, as pasta prices have also rocketed.
Gawd knows how high prices will go when the effect of the £/€ changes start to kick in.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

If your OH feeds him, does he give formula? Natasha would never touch the stuff - she went straight onto full fat cows milk when I stopped feeding her. Have you tried giving OH your top so that he can smell you when he's being cuddled and fed?
Sorry if I'm just patronising you with stuff you already know.
Are you in the room with them when he's feeding him? I had to be RIGHT out of the room, completely out of earshot, otherwise the little monkey would just scream until I gave in and fed her myself.Elliot has cow's milk quite happily in a cup, first thing in the morning, usually once in the day, and again before bed. I only feed in the middle of the night when he wakes as he pushes the cup away at these times... so we made a lot of progress as previously I was feeding him to sleep, but now we're stuck at this stage. It's not just about being fed, it's about sleeping with/next to one of us. He is fine for a few hours, until 10/11 but then he wants to be held or cuddled - and then he is fine again for a few hours from about 2 - 6 - there just seems to be this period we can't get through.
I think it might have to be cold turkey, cot in HIS room (decorating of which is on The List!) and OH in there comforting until we crack it.
But it does seem harsh and dare I say it a bit cruel to a baby who is only doing what he sees as perfectly normal.
It - the nightfeeds I mean - also make up for some days where Elliot is at nursery and then busy with his daddy in the evening so I don't spend much time with him, and then we reconnect and bond while we sleep so there is a small part of me that is not complaining, if you understand what I mean.0 -
DD with DD she was 17 months when i stopped BF and i just told her mums boobs dont work anymore
she was not amused for the first 3 days then just forgot all about it.
And that was her still "feeding" 3 times a day...she was a greedy sod:rolleyes:
He understands 'bath time' - it is sooo cute he just gets up from whatever he is doing and runs for the stairs- and 'bed time' 'night night' etc but not much else I don't think. He knows 'cat' and 'look' and 'spinning!'
A lot can change in a few short months I suppose.

Morning all!
I am having a lovely weekend!
have loads to do today tho.
Bunny, I honestly think if one of us had said they were horrifically vile and fat you would go nuts at us.
You are not any of those things. not one. not even a little bit.
I have to get on with my list.
I love reading the chat with my cup of tea on a sunday. sad be true

oo DD, my friend when weaning her little boy, she expressed the night feed and gradually switched over to formula? cos then he got used to the bottle, and he had formula during the day so he knew the taste etc? I don't know if that helps? She was mostly expressing so OH could do the night as well I think? I just remember baby sitting and having a lot of bottles I couldn't use until certain times!!
xxxNevertheless she persisted.0
