I don't believe this.
Mum has just spent over 130 quid on Sainsburys.
she has bought all kinds of stuff we don't need. and told me to leave the unpacking to her cos she doesn't want me to see how much she is throwing away.
we have enough kitkats and jaffa cakes to last until march. and bread.
I must sound like a right ungrateful cow but honestly to God i am just sick of the waste.

well, the living room curtains have been re-dyed, dried and ironed, so they are in the living room to go back up later.
Also gave me the excuse to do the ironing generally. I only have 3 things that need ironing but they sit on hangers on the back of the bedroom door until they HAVE to be done!
Buffy - sorry your mum is being like this - you aren't ungrateful - you are just showing a sensible attitude to waste. Is there anything you can sneakily get into the freezer rather than it being chucked?
