Hi all, Pipsmum well done on the book. How very organised putting away for Christmas! Theatre sounds good, you deserve some treats or you would go absolutely mad with it all.
I am off for the weekend, deserting hubby and kids for a sponsored walk in Wales. The coach picks us up from work tonight and the walk is tomorrow. The firm pay for most of it, we just have to put £25 towards the hotel which for two nights is very good. I just have to buy dinner tonight but there is a pub next door to the hotel which looks cheap. Wish me luck, its 15 miles and a lot of it is hill walking. Have I done enough training? Definitely not!!! Oh well got to do it now.
The weather forecast for the weekend is fab, enjoy all!!
I am annoyed as the Paypal money I was expecting from Ebay today as not showed up, it does this sometimes. Sometimes its really quick and other times it takes longer, oh well I am sure it will arrive on Monday.
Pram sounds fab, well done.:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Have a fab break Spend and good luck for the charity walk, you will be fine Im sure.
I requested Paypal money on Tuesday and it still hasnt turned up in my account, I find them to be pretty slow.
I went to Mr Ms armed with my calculator:rotfl:used my £5 off voucher so got all my shopping (38 items) for £26.60. Same as last week I didnt need to spend that much but as I got some money from dodger lodger I figured I may aswell take advantage of £5 of free food and opportunity to stock up, at this rate I will only need to buy fresh stuff once a week.
So got these for free::money:- Nappy Bags 28p
- Pork shoulder joint for freezer - £2.47
- Tinned Peas 2x19p
- Tinned Sweetcorn 2x29p
- Frozen Mince - £1.19 (thats 3 in freezer now!)
We are going to put the freezer from my flat into our little outbuilding so it will give us a whole load more room for batch cooking:T
It was a beautiful day here so mum and I took Pip (in the new pram!) for a walk round our park. The museum in the middle was open for free and they had a little art exhibition too. It was really nice, I hadnt been in the museum since I was at lower schoolthere were some really nice things to look at and Pip ad a good nose round too.
The evil MIL is coming tomorrow so I am going to my best friends house for lunch and a chat, also going to pick up the portrait photos we had done :T OH is going to show MIL the video of the Naming day, every time she is on camera she has a face like thunder and is glaring. You also hear her say "why is she (me) centre of attention" and "lets grab him (Pip) back from those people (my family) as soon as we can." there is also a conversation between her and OH where she tells him he cant have a beer if he is going to hold Pip and him telling her to sod off as he is 30 and can do what he likes :rotfl: I would love to see her reaction as she cant try and bluff her way out of cold hard evidence can she
So tomorrow will be a bit stressful as I will be leaving Pip in her evil clutches but I am now armed with stripeyness so evil shall not triumph!!:rotfl::rotfl:Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

I am going to Twinlakes in Leicester with my kids and sister and nephew. Its £10 each to go but will keep them quiet all day, will spend no other money when there as have bought the food and drinks to take with us. Dont suppose my sister will go halves on the petrol, she never offers!

But do you ever ASK either. Leave the british reserve about asking for money at the car door and drive to the petrol station on the way. Say that you have to fill up for the journey and hope she will pay her fair share.:D
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hello All
Its a beautiful sunny day today again im a bit ouchy as I got a bit burnt yesterday sitting in my bestfriends garden whilst avoidingevil MIL. Had a really awkward moment as evil turned up before I had left
so I had to scarper quickly.
It was too early to go to my friends so I went and looked in a few shops and wait for it............ bought my first Christmas presents:xmassmile I got a Crystal snowman for my mum reduced from £17 to £4 :j a venetian glass trinket box £8 reduced to £2 :jand a silverplated owl £6 down to £1:j
Today I am going to take Pip for a walk and maybe potter in garden a bit more. Checked topcashack and can claim my £50 cashback so when that reaches my account I can pay a bit more off CCs :T so lower minimum payments. I am going to pay off the Mothercare card first even though it has lower interest, when its clear I am going to transfer some of evil MBNA to it so it should work out cheaper minimum payments over all.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Hey quick whizz in and out - bit ouchy myself, field work in sunshine, odd concept here - hope you had fun today - and you should ask for petrol - I have started too its going up again.
OK so I got brave and tried on the dress here - it fits and its gorgeous thank you so much
My boobs seem to be a bit more than ample for the frock (TMI?) which is a bit odd cos I thought if anything they were a size 12 - hey ho. think they might be a bit ample for size 12 ness - DD loves hte dress too so she's happy enough to 'borrow it'. I seem to be an upside down pear - wee bum big boobs or an apple shape (ample tummy) ....... can't I do anything 'normally'?
Stripey bag is now in office and little book I am going to print off some photos for - you are an angel dearie
Hope the evil one didn't give you too much hassles and well done on shopping. I am going for an eat it out of the cupboards this month too and just getting fruit/veg/milk so will keep you company.

Phewie it is Scorchio out there!!
Pip so far is not enjoying his first summer as he had a little fit yesterday. It was just because he got too hot even though he was just in his nappy, inside in the shade with all windows and doors open. We were a bit worried though as OH is epileptic but apparently highly unlikely Pip is and nothing to worry about.
Flat is officially on the market now, went to sign contracts today. Really hate the estate agent as she is a slimy female doggie but hey its not what I think of her that I am interested in is it! Its cold hard cash :rotfl: Bit worried though as I deferred the payment of the HIP that you have to have (£631:eek:) and they do a credit check for it :eek::eek:
Went to Library and got Pip a free Bookstart set, its a reaLLY CUTE LITTLE COTTON BAG, 2 BOARD BOOKS AND LOADS OF (ooooops dont know how that happened but too lazy to retype it!!) info about getting littlies to read. He gets another when hes 2 and another when he is 3 :T
Whilst in Library I found a few nice craft books and I now have loads of ideas for Xmas pressies. :santa2:
Not a NSD as I went into town, bought a couple of secret items (ha ha!) and was naughty and bought OH some trout fillets from M&S. Need to go back and remeber to take my vouchers as they had a nice lorry biscuit tin that will be nice for my Pap for Fathers Day, so probably not a NSD tomorrow either.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm all I can think of for now x x xDebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
