No Money Mummy to Millionaire Mummy!!

Hi all
Pipsmum, they sound sooo helpful, bet you could scream!! Good for Tesco but shame they won't freeze interest. I am very frustrated as bought new blind for DS1 room and my husband had to cut one side which is supposed to be easy to do. Its WONKY!!!!! I don't think most people would notice it, but I do. Contemplating buying another or putting up with it. I could kill DH.
Had a result today as got £40 for recycling an old phone which I am very pleased about. Going to knock it off a debt, which one I don't know!!
In case anybody is interested there is a website you can register on to advertise in your car back window or bumper, companies pay you between £50 ande £110 a month for it. My friend advertises in her car and gets £70 a month. She just has to take a photo once a month and email it off. Easy money if you don't mind the advertising in your back window!
Heard at work today that some groups may have to go down to a 4 day week to cut costs, eek, hope its not my group. I work in HR though and they will probably need us to implement it all, hope so anyway!!! 20% pay cut would not be good at this moment.
Hope everybody had a good day.
Good website for surveys www.myvoice.co.uk. Got £20 off them today.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Helllooooo!!!!!
How did the valuation and jabs go today????
I would love to do the advertising on my car, i have 2 in my household so plenty of scope for extra pennies. May have to look into this further and talk with OH.
Spendtomuch how long has it taken you to get to the £20 mark and how long are the surveys??December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

hi yes thats the right website, it was in the woman's own magazine last week as well. I have tried to sign up but it keeps crashing. My friend has been doing it for 6 months and has had no problems with getting the money. Don't care about a few stickers in my back window, anything for a few quid. Let me know if you get to sign up ok.
It took me 2 months to get that money and they are the easiest surveys I have ever done, I have never been screened out. They are short and simple.
Signed up for Pinecone, anxiously awaiting the first survey!!!!

Jabs Ok, I gave him a shot of calpol after jabs and he is snoozing now.
Big fat Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm on the valuation, one sold for £89,000 for the full 100% share but she said mine is in great condition and thought we may achieve £54,000+ for my 50% share. So the dilema is that I put down £20,000 deposit which I am clearly not going to get back, my mortgage remaining is £45,000 so I would make a little spare to pay off of the debts. I did some sums and if I sell it I would be left with £288 a month after outgoings and if I rent it I would be left with £5:eek:Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

ooh Pipsmum thats a big dilemma. I would be tempted to sell and pay some debts off but long term it may be a better investment to keep and rent as it will go up in price eventually. Need to sleep on that one me thinks!!
Good luck with making the decision.0 -
Yep its a huge decision!
As you say long term better to keep it but it will absolutely cripple us financially. If I sell it we could comfortably manage on me only working 20 hours a week as long as I stick to my new found frugal ways.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Sell then Pipsum, if life will be comfortable with you working part time, go for it. I went back to work really quickly after having all 3 of my boys and went back full time. I wish I had sorted finances out sooner and gone back part time. I feel I have missed out on so much of my boys growing up and am often tired and grumpy.0

Oh bless you spend, I read Rags diary too and she is so tired and stressed trying to manage it all and I feel really sorry for her, you and everyone in the same situation. I just think ok I will lose some money on the flat but I will gain so much from th extra time I can spend with Pip x xDebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
