Don't feel sorry for me, its all of my own making. I have spent far too much for far too long and have only just decided to sort it all out once and for all. If I had sorted myself out when I had first son I would not be working full time now. Spend every minute you can with him, they soon grow up and become grumpy teenagers who don't like you! I have big age gap with mine too, 17, 9 and 5 so although I started young at 39 I have a five year old.

Whilst my boys are my life and they are loved I have to work full time because I have been stupid with money for the last 20 years. I wish I could turn back the clock but hey I have finally realised. I need to pluck up the courage to do my SOA, been looking at everybody elses but not done mine yet. I need to do that snowball calculator thing too to work out where I am. Did you throw any spare money at one debt and pay the minimum on the others until the one had gone? x

My debt is my biggest frustration but hey I guess it is for all of us. But yay we have had our LBM and are doing something about it so well done us.
SOAs are terrifying but worthwhile at least you can face it head on. Same with the snowball.

Its tough also to decide which ones to pay off. If they have a low balance it can be psychologically good to get rid of it, one ticked off the list, but it really makes more sense to pay off the high interest ones first. I do a mixture of both so now my lowest ones have been cleared but ive also paid off quite a chunk of the high interest one too.

  • Do i really come across that stressed???? ha ha ha!!!! there was me thinking i was upbeat!!!!! ha ha ha!!!!

It is the hardest thing ever to leave your babies (but its built in to stop us abandoning them) but i just think now its needs must........i am doing it for my boys. Hopefully they will grow up seeing how hard we work for things and will learn the value of money...........................thats my hope anyway.

As for the flat, i would go with your gut instinct................its usually the right decision. Not much help im sorry. xx

Ive just baked some more Twinks hobnobs but this batch hasnt come out as nice, bit dry, dont know why as Ive done exactly the same as before.

Taking Pip into OHs office for lunch again today so he can see his daddy, his godfather and a few other nice peeps too.

Just rang Payplan and all they could suggest was write to them again and explain that I am offering to pay them more than I can temporarily afford and explain that it is only temporary and will improve when I return to work. So basically im out of uck with them, I will right the letter but its so frustrating Grrrrrr!
