:j:j:j I am soooooo proud of myself :j:j:j
Ive just finished knitting my first premature baby hat. It is so, so tiny. Pip at his huge 9lb 4oz would never have fit into it and I am so relieved as it must be so dreadfully worrying to have such a tiny baby.
The hat was very easy to make and I think I will be able to make loads more. It feels really nice to have made something for someone else. Lots of the ladies on there knit burial items too and I really admire them for that as I just wouldnt be able to spend all that time and love knowing its purpose was so sad.
Anyway I have digressed massively, but its my diary so I can do what I like na na na na nah nah :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

I am going to Twinlakes in Leicester with my kids and sister and nephew. Its £10 each to go but will keep them quiet all day, will spend no other money when there as have bought the food and drinks to take with us. Dont suppose my sister will go halves on the petrol, she never offers!

But do you ever ASK either. Leave the british reserve about asking for money at the car door and drive to the petrol station on the way. Say that you have to fill up for the journey and hope she will pay her fair share.:D

I had that similiar experience again from a mate while we were away, wasnt the 1st time, but took the 1st time as a "one off"
My expenses
£8.00 train tickets me, dd + friend
£21.50 trip for 3 of us steam train
As there was big q at pay desk, I said I'll pay for the train ticket, that way you can get better seats, and you get lunch - friend said ok
£3.00 extra sat on posh seats - way out
£3.00 extra sat on posh seats way back (friend got no change)
Got to pub, the meals were fab only £3.50 each, so I felt guilty her buying drinks + meals I said I'll buy the drinks whilst choose food......... she then choose her food, told the barman to put them through altogether, thought great shes paying........saw her fiddling with her fone, next minute it rang... she disappeared outside, barman waiting for money...... muggins paid
£17.00
My total spend £54.00
Friend £0.00:mad::eek::eek:xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
:eek::eek: Yikes Mum2one :eek::eek: That is such alot for you to have had to pay out and friend paid nothing, its not fair.
Rags bless DS he must have been tiny. Ive managed to knit another 1 today, they knit up quite quickly.
Well I had a small victory today as I rang about Council tax and they spread it over the free months so it is £73 now instead of £83. If I could find somewhere to store the stuff so it was empty I wouldnt have to pay anything so think I will make it my aim to explore all avenues to find something to do with it. There is a 3 seater sofa and an armchair that I would sell but they are going for about a fiver on Ebay!!
Anyone need a sofa, armchair, bed, sofabed, dining table or coffee table?

could you also advertise in your local newspaper? they're desparate for advert income at the moment so you may be able to haggle.

My friend has been doing it for 6 months and has had no problems with getting the money. Don't care about a few stickers in my back window, anything for a few quid. Let me know if you get to sign up ok.
It took me 2 months to get that money and they are the easiest surveys I have ever done, I have never been screened out. They are short and simple.
Signed up for Pinecone, anxiously awaiting the first survey!!!!

Hi all. Pipsmum definitely worth emptying flat if you could then pay nothing! I have had a decent weekend on Ebay, sold all my items so very pleased with myself. Bought some more sealed tins to try and save some money, works well for me if I cannot open the tin!
Mumtoone, is your friend my sister???? Its so unfair isn't it, why do people do that. It just makes you want to not do anything with them again doesn't it.
My mobile broke today, really don't want to buy another, searching the house for an old one!!
Horrible Monday out of the way, Tuesday work never seems as bad, silly I know.0 -
Spend Glad all your items sold, I just listed the bed frame with FREE matress and duvet for 99p! Also listed the sofabed for 99p. Know I wont make much on them but at least they will be out the way. It would be a shame to chuck them, if they dont sell I will donate them to charity.
Boooooooooooo to broken mobiles, thinking if I have an old one you could have but think I am using my oldone!! Try Ebay maybe?
Ive bitten the bullet and filled in the return to work forms, 1st September I will be a working girl again oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh nonot like that!! (Although money trouble would be over!!)

1st sept still a long time away yet hun, how old will pip be when you go back?? Just a warning that they start getting clingy and weary of strangers from about 8-9 months so depending on what childcare route your goona use (if any) i would start it a few weeks before you go back to get him used to the person/s and you leaving.................................................. but thats ages away!!!!!!December 2018: £20,850.24.
