Oh we got one of those hand held blender things for <£6 quid in the co-op a week or so ago as mine broke - I use it for soup mush rather than baby mush.

Look at the supermarkets, sure they do a cheap hand held blender for under a tenner!!!! works good enough for me!!!!
Hey fay, whist you are here. can you rehome strawberry plants when they are flowering??? Bought a pop up strawberry planter so ds1 can pick them easier and they can space out a bit more than the pot they are in at the mo.............

Rags yeah that be fine just (as every gardener keeps banding on about) make sure you water them or they will not be happy.
if they have extra leaves that are a bit raggy cut them off (make sure the plants keep at least 3/4 of their leaves when you move them)
otherwise they should be great and you will know they are OK when there is new growth appearing after a week or so??
Pips mum - I'd go to tesco and buy a 'value' hand held blender- be no more than £6
Anythingn with 'baby' on it will be at least twice the price
