:hello:Hello one-day
Ha Ha Ha yes we are a bit like a playgroup, there is always tea and biccies too! :coffee: The more the merrier :j Welcome x x
So not much DFW for me today other than the usual scratchees and clicks, 1 survey (does anyone else find surveys have dried up?) and I rang Pips CTF peeps to see where my boots vouchers are.
Trying to be careful with leccy as we only have £9 and I dont get paid until Friday, so if we run out before uh oh!!
I am still trying to figure out best return to work combo. Does anyone know how much your allowed to earn or how many hours before it changes your WTC? Also dont understand the tax and NI I will have to pay on roughly 20 hours a week. Oooooooo its all so confusing
Edit - Glad to see you are still lurking Hampster, are you sulking and not talking to me as I didnt name him Pip? :rotfl::rotfl:

Just a thought, re tax credits situ, if you can grab an hr, get your hubbies wages, and yours, have a few figures in mind, (part time, full time)
Go to www.entitledto.com (its a goverment website), and put the different amounts in and it will tell you what wtc and ctc that your entitled to.
You dont have to put any personal details in, so at least you can play around.
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
best thing anyone ever said to me at playgroup (aside all the snippy comments) was
'how much for the boy? I'll take him I guess if he doesn't each much, my husband is devoid of male child producing sperm and rather than snog someone else I thought OK that boy child looks OK' So how much.
Then she burst out laughing and offered me a cup of tea - told me to not worry about the rest of them they all had delusions of perfect children

Oh well that made me laugh on what has otherwise been a :eek:aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh day!
Really panicking as Friday is my last full pay so then will be down to SMP. Feel REALLY REALLY REALLY annoyed with myself again that I let my debt run up and that I am now going to struggle and life be stressful. If I didnt have my manking debt we could live comfortably on the money I will be receiving.
Ive decided to sell the flat as it will save me nearly £600 a month, hopefully I will get at least half of the deposit I put down and this would enable me to clear a HUGE chunk of debt meaning lower minimum payments and hopefully less stress.
Went to my friends house at teatime (incase OHs sister came round like she usually would on a tuesday to see Pip) and my other friend, also boss, was there. We discussed my going back to work and she says the hours I would like to do shouldnt be a problem.
Anyway off for a browse and still working on my 101 list x xDebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Dont worry hun, if i can manage on smp, so can you!!! it is a bit of a shock at first but do able. Just have to budget within an inch of your life........
good luck with selling the flat!!! my fingers are crossed you can sell it quick and for a good price (could well do now the property market has evened out)
December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Thanks Rags. at the minute though we will be running at a defecit of £80 each month:eek:
Will try and chase CCs tomorrow about DMP and see if they will agree to it.
Will also ring some estate agents to investigate their fees and arrange valuations. Feeling a little positive as 2 flats very similar in the same block have just sold and one sign says "sold, another wanted" so they will prob be the first I ring tomorrow.
Eleccy meter down to £5.90  will it last till Friday? We are sat in the dark with only te telly and fridge freezer on!!:rotfl:Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

:snow_laugBrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr its so cold here today, you would think it was December:snow_laug Heating will NOT be going on though so Pip and I are wearing jumpers. Might walk to my nans later for some heat!!
Not content with huge selling decisions I am also contemplating selling my little brum brum. I am wondering if she is a luxury we cannot afford at the mo and do we NEED 2 cars? We managed on 1 for the 2 months I didnt drive, I am near enough to town, shops, mums, nans to be able to walk. My mum drives me to Mr Ms for food shop each Friday anway and OH is around at weekends. Mmmmmmmm will continue contemplating.
Will pop in later x xDebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Hiya baby mrs weasley (((((hugs))))))
Ok if you have a deficit thn somehow or other that needs addressed as a priority (which I know you KNOW) just straightening things out in my own head - when I started on here I had a deficit over 300 a month
SO - In the interim how do we help?
I did look and read thoroughly mazb thread and I have done that for shopping past couple months so now my food expenditure somehow has really cut back
I joined the grocery challenge
And
The key to my spends cut down seems to have been doign a bulk big shop and NOT going shopping inbetween.
I have milk and bread in freezer and to be honest aside a bunch of bananas some apples etc (which are luxuries) I dont NEED anything else this month
I turn the fridge and freezers off every night then on again in the AM so far no casualties but if you forget it can be horredous - can you put them on a timer?
I'd get rid of the car if it were me - (only my opinion)
Keep the house if you can
And really cut back hard - to make up the deficit - and I am sorry if it sounds like I am preaching am not honest , lovey.
When I was off with kids I only got SMP the whole way through cos I was self employed.
So sleeves up - how can WE help????
PS I can send down my energy owl for a couple weeks if you want to see how much you are using and how much certain things cost - no probsTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

:beer:Cheers Fay
Thanks for owl offer but my Nan and Pap have one that I am borrowing. To be honest though there isnt alot else we can do to save energy. Boiler is only for heating (which is off) and hot water (which we are sparing with), hadnt thought of turning freezer off at night so thats maybe something to consider
The flat I would be selling is the one dodgy lodger lived in and is now vacant, its not our actual home if that makes sense.
Its so frustrating as there isnt anywhere else we can cut back on really, hang on and I will post my SOA.
I know your not preaching x x:ADebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
