It means I will probably be able to stay off longer with Pip:j

Next month I will only be getting SMP so my income will half, sadly bills will not!!
If I can get MBNA and Tesco to accept the lower payments then that means I should be able to stay off until August. If they dont then I will have to go back before and that will mean there is extra to throw at debts :j either way its worthy of a :j!!

I really would love to stay off longer with Pip though. I am finding it really hard to be apart from him at the moment and cant believe how quick he is growing up! We put the side back on his cot and moved him away from my side of the bed last night and I felt lik that foot move was more like a mile!!
    I am a wuss I know!!:rotfl:

    Great lovely :)

Well done on getting so much of it sorted. Great that you might be able to have more pip time, brilliant - xx

I must be a bad mother - I moved the affectionately termed Ratboy (DS) out of our room after 8 days - he kept making so many noises and snuffling and snorting - I was never able to settle neither did he - so we moved him into his own room at 8 days (bad mummy bad mummy) and both slept better from there on in. DS is such an independant soul, he doesnt like anyone around when he is sleeping at all - even when ill - he says it just bothers him. He prefers to be alone at bed time - whereas DD is generally snoring beside me 6 days out of 7 even now! Given the choice she's all for company.

Odd that they can be so functional personality wise as babies eh?

    hi pips mum.

First of all a very belated well done on your cute little man. Aidan is one of my favourite names too.

Well done on challenging the interest rate rise on your card. Doubleing the APR is taking the micky big time. Really pleased that they lowered it again.

If you want to list a lot then down load Turbolister from the ebay site. Means you can list at a time to suit you and save them for when you want to upload them

And I was wondering, about you saying you are going to do a DMP. Does this mean that you OH does not have any debt, so it won't be a joint DMP?

    chev

ps for those of your with sniffly babies (though not new borns), you can get menthol crystals from the chemist. You dissolve a small amount in a largish bowl of boiling water, and put it under their bed/cot. Helps them to breath.
I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hi Chev, OH has his own debts so we are both going into seperate DMPs to try and clear them at our own pace and for it not to be too scary as if we added both debts together it would be over £20,000:eek:
It may seem strange to some but we each pay for our share of things for the house rather than have a joint account, whoever has more money at the time something needs paying pays for it! Except for food, tv licence and water which I always pay for and mortgage which he always pays for. Suits us so why change it?

So I am putting the final touches to the Naming Ceremony for Saturday. All in, including new outfits for the 3 of us, its cost us £2000 for 40 people to have a 4 course sit down meal, drinks after ceremony and with their meal and for the room to be decorated nicely :T Think I have done quite well frugal wise!!

Fay - Pip definately is developing his own funny personality even at this young age, its amazing. You are definately not a bad mother, I always picture you to be like Mrs Weasley from HP!! :rotfl:Thats what I am aiming for, a little disfunctional but loved by all who meet her!! :T
