    Thanks Lavinia21 :-)

    So much for updating more often hey, sorry!

    Well Pip did avoid surgery again for his Hirschsprungs, they were really pleased with him and we don't have to go back for another 6 months :-)

    Both my jobs are going well and so is Mr Pips, he just got a little bonus for doing well which is great news.

    So lets have some scores on the doors!

    Tesco £1,980
    Isme £731
    fridge-freezer broke but all £731 on 0% until July next year :(
    Next £46 will be gone by end of Oct :T
    IDEM £110 will be gone by end of Nov :T
    Santander £646 had to put something on it :(

    Total = £3513
    So it's gone up since last update but on the whole I am really happy as 2 will be gone by end of year & 1 on long term 0%

    I REALLY think next year I can become debt free :-)
    Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] :eek: £5700
    :TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

    Hello All

    Guess who is back and trying her hand at this MSE thing again.

    Well as you can see from signature still not debt free and infact total debt has gone up again :-( Like most 2016 has not been kind to us, I can't actually believe how long ago my last update was.

    Mr Pip was dismissed just before Christmas, his company claims he lost some data whilst transferring it from one server to another, of course he couldn't prove that A) it wasn't him or B) if it was him he didn't do it intentionally, they classed it as gross misconduct so bye bye income.

    I am still doing 2 jobs, 60 hour weeks between the 2 of them for the last few weeks since Mr Pips got let go.

    Luckily we continued to overpay our mortgage from when he was made redundant before so we have 3 months mortgage free, so very much 1 less thing to worry about.

    Freezer chocker block so menu plan done for the month, we will be eating well still!

    Obviously debt busting has gone down the pan again for the moment but I am so, so fed up of paying out each month on repayments I wish wish, wish 2017 could be the year we get rid of it all.

    Tesco £2,279
    Isme £670
    Next £478
    Santander £684

    Total = £4111 :mad:

    Am definitely back MSEing so will try to update more regularly now.

    Been to work all day and managed to secure another 30hrs of overtime for next week. Managed to pick up a few little reduced foodie bits, so tea tomorrow will be sweet and sour chicken and rice for £1.50 for all 4 of us! :money:
    Lucky for us that we have a Real Junk Food project near to us, they rescue out of date stuff from being binned and then you pay a donation for the food, we popped down the other day and got lots of fruit and veg and some bread, I cooked it all and whizzed it up and we had yummy bread and soup followed by blueberries and yoghurt for dinner for pennies. Going to pop down again tomorrow as they just posted on facebook that they have lots and lots they need to get rid of again tomorrow.

    Mr Pips had a productive meeting with a potential customer so it looks very likely he will be setting up his own business, apparently he can get a grant from the job centre but he needs to look into this. APPREHENSIVE is ot the word on my part but not a lot I can do :( hopefully it will work out but all I can think of is the mortgage needs paying, we have a few more months of payment holiday as we had overpaid them previously but then after that what happens if he hasn't got enough business? I can JUST manage to pay the household bills (gas/elec/food/insurances/debt payments/etc) but only if there continues to be plenty of overtime available, so what happens if that drys up? Lot's to think **worry** about.

    Visited our real junk food project and all they had left was an entire table full of parsnips and sprouts! :rotfl:
    Got some of both for pennies then came home and used the sprouts to make bubble and squeak cakes that we had for lunch with some beans.:money: Had to nip into work and came away the proud owner of 2 x 26p quiches and some 49p pork pies, Pip rquested picky snacks for tomorrow so they can go towards that.

    I like a good clean and tidy up for New Year, so beds all changed, everywhere hoovered and dusted, washing all done and everyones had a bath! Tonight we are going to my uncle and unties house for a little party, I'm looking forward to watchng 2016 die horribly and welcoming in 2017!
    Happy New Year everyone x x x
