I did wonder that LT kind of like a cooling off period!
I might look to create a mini trial for myself with the approval of my immediate boss, who I think will be cool with it. Because my role is all computer based at the moment, we have no newbies for a while (obviouslly!!) and the new IT system doesnt start for a bit either, then I could do it from the other office. I am looking at doing 3 long days of 10 hours each, so if I went over to the other site for 3 days a week for 2-4 weeks, depending on what boss will let me do, I could have a rough idea of how I would feel about it.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

that's a great idea Pip i'm sure they'll help you if you've got that kind of boss. Hope the 10 hour days include the travel as well, hate to think of that plus the travel.0

Nope that would be on top of travel :-(
My problem is that on a Thursday I only do 4 hours, its not worth travelling all that way for 4 hours so I need to either lose them, add another 4 (neither really an option) or fit them into the other days.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Could you come up with a flexi time arrangement where you work the 4 hours as an 8 hour day every other week or even do them from home?Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Moo2moo - Hadnt thought of that. will look into it as it may be a good way round it and I still get best of both worlds by having 1 shorter week and 1 longer week. Thanks.
Very, Very sad today. Found out yesterday that my best friend passed away. She was only 29 and had 3 brain tumours. She was funny, happy, positive and lived life to the full it is just so cruel that she has been taken from us. Had to come home from work as I just couldnt keep it together and Ive booked tomorrow as holiday, just couldnt face it.

Thanks Everyone x x Its a dreadful thing to say but I look around and see people wasting life and think why are you still here but she is gone? When my Grandad passed away of course I was dreadfully sad but he had 80+ years she didnt get half that
.
Did part of my shop at Aldi today, it came to £38. Still need a few bits form Mr Ms tomorrow but its going to be a dear shop this week as its my Dads Birthday next week so I am doing a St Patricks Day party, with a stew, soda bread and a Guinness cake!
Think I got away with the over overdraft charge I mentioned the other week. I went over drawn on the overdraft over night and back into it again about 11.00 am and they appear to not have charged me yet! :T
Ive baked bread, made cakes, tidied up, done the washing, been for a walk with Pip and done the food shop. Days like today make me want to definately jack work in, take severance and be a home Mummy.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
