Ha ha ha spends, yes I will concede that she has been useful..................... this once! We will never hear the end of it though and even when its long paid back she will drag it out as a way we are indebted to her.

Ive got a tonne of stuff to put onto Ebay and cannot be bothered. Why is it that I cant seem to find my Mojo? Even though I know there is probably, at worst estimate, £100 up there just sitting doing nothing. One item that I finally did bither putting on has got a bid and 3 people watching so hopefully that will get a good price. Its my cousins 21st Birthday in a couple of weeks so I want to get her a Pandora charm bracelet, seen lots on Ebay so would be able to get one and not even pay if I just get my lazy a**e into gear. Shout at me someone please!!!

glad you were able to get the car through the MOT without it costing too much.

sorry not been around but yes i do love watching the baking program, but she is way too thin for someone who does so much baking. Never a good sign as it implies she doesn't like her own baking :) lol
hope you sorted out the mould problems. we have them as well but know it's a damp issue, but need upstairs to do their bit before it will sort itself.

Hope puss cat goes on ok, theres some ar-se-holes out there. Glad the MIL has a use at last (sorry!!)

Kick up the bum - its free listing on ebay this weekend, - I'm a bit dubious on these weekends, as a lot of people list (great for someone looking for a bargain, - but as a seller - your in competation).

As for Pandora bracelets - don't know what ur budget is like but theres some brilliant bargains on at Argos at the moment, all different styles, think they start from £30. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    Thanks Smarties & Mum2one & LT

Will do a proper money breakdown, update type thing later as its been payday but in the mean time.........................

I did put some bits on Ebay and they all finish today. Selling £20s worth so far and still a few hours on them.

Just made a Doris Grant loaf as shown in the Baking made easy programme and yes it was very easy! Tasted yum too. Have started doing my food shop in 2 shops, been going to Aldi on Thursday and getting the bulk of it and then Mr Ms on Friday for the bits I couldnt get. Its saved me about £10 - £15 a week so far.

I had a treat and went out with a friend on Thursday. I knew she had been poorly but while we were out she told me she has 3 brain tumours that are untreatble. They cannot give her any idea of the length of time she has left. Might be weeks, months or even years they just don't know. Its very sad as she is so young, the same as me and not yet 30. She is actually really positive and upbeat and says she isnt going to waste what time she has got left moping about. She would like us to go out more regularly so now I am stuck in the rubbish position of not really being able to afford to go out but not wanting to refuse to my friend who may not be here by the end of the year. She can't really come here as she has big mobility issues and would never manage the stairs.

Then on Friday I was really, really happy as my friend became a youthful granny! She is only 40 so it seems really odd for her to be a granny! I had bought the baby a little outfit from Next in the January sales as we knew it was a girl so thats all bought and paid for.

Its going to be a tough month again, I can see it already. Why is it so hard? I am not really doing anything diffferent, just feel like we still can never catch a break.

Anyhoo, out again tonight but this time just to our friends so will be a cheapy night. Have a great weekend all x x x

Sorry about your friend, she sounds upbeat, re meeting up / going out, could you say have a girlie ngt in, dvd - get hubbie to look after pip upstairs (even if you have to bribe the pair of them!!), that way of you can chuck pizza in the oven.

    Hi!

I am a sulky Pips Mum today!

On Monday we have to go into a huge meeting to find out the fate of our jobs, NICE! Leave us all fretting over the weend why don't they! Also doubly upset as we wanted to try and have a 2nd baby but was already worried money wise but really, really wouldnt manage if I have no job.

Will there ever come a time when we can have 'afford' a 2nd baby? How do you know if you will manage?

  • Oh no, i really hope you hear good news about your job.
As regards the second baby, we have been in the !!!!!! for years and were when we had our 1st tbh - i think personally if you wait till you can afford a baby, you'll never have one. I have found that this time, i've hardly had to buy anything because we already had it and child benefit and tax credits will go up, we struggle every month with or without another baby - thats my personal opinion but .......i know it won't be everyones! If you would like another, go for it i say xx
