£19 rooms were back on for Brighton last night so all sorted with a nice few days break in August and more money to spend in the shops there:T

  • Hi, do Travelodge usually have another sale for the summer period or will their next sale be for stays later in the year?

Im guessing the next one will be for later in the year now, as they have had the Easter and Summer sales now.

Having said that you can never tell with Travelodge Ive found £19 rooms lurking after the sales,

hi ppl ive booked at heathrow central for £9 for the 17th and the 18th of may 2009 . i made two seperate bookings so one for the 17th and then one for the 18th would i have to check out on the 18th to check back in or would they allow me to check in in the 17th and check out on the 19th. confusing i know im hoping they will treat as one stay rather than two . Any advice will be appreciated .

depends on how well the rooms are selling. if they have lots of empty rooms and its around school holidays, you tend to find they add more £19 rooms to the system, or if that doesnt work, then they have another £9 sale day

With travelodge, room prices only increase as availability decreases, so if you book 12m in advance, you should always be able to get their saver rate of £19 room. You only ever pay full room rate at travelodge if your booking is made within 7 days of your stay, or you just happen to choose a venue and date, that are extremely popular, and the availability is low

i find travelodge best when you dont have a set date or location in mind, and are very flexible, so you can work your stay around their cheap rooms, rather than having a holiday in mind, that you cant deviate from (unless you want to get up at an ungodly hour on sale day, just so you stand a chance of a £9 room on the dates, and in the location you need)

I did this in Farringdon travelodge last summer as was miles cheaper to book 3 nights individually at £19. They just told me I needed to get my room card swiped by 12pm each day to keep the same room, they do treat it as one stay but they have to re issue room key daily with their computer system.

Ive done the same for my Brighton break this summer to get the £19 rate.
